Flipping plant to flower

Hi guys, so first time doing this . I just flipped my bubba kush from a 18/6 to 13/11 schedule. 13 because I heard the plant may squeeze out a little more growth . So my question is , it's been about 3 days since I flipped the schedule , when can I expect to see first signs of flower ? How long does it take ?

I would just run 12/12 if you are new to growing. The only other light cycle I use is 11/13 and that is for Sativa's.

It takes about 14 days to see flowers begin to set.

Lots of patience involved in growing

Thanks for the reply guys . I'll drop it to 12/12 . I was reading on a thread that the extra hour can help a bit more growth

I was going to ask the same question, I am also new to this . This is my very first grow. Is there signs to watch for that l Indicates she's ready..I feel she is..she's 3ft , she sprouted Sept 29th. Coming up on 8 weeks now of veg. I ran 24hrs lights on for the first 6 weeks and for the last 2 weeks I've been doing 20/4..
Would she be ok if I did 12/12 tonight? Or should I Ease her on by doing 18/6 for a week or two then 12/12? Or can I jump her right to 12/12

When I flip- i go to 11.5 on 12.5 off
Then I subtract a half hour of light every 2 weeks
I end at 10 on or even 9.5 depending on how long they go, however with this method I am always beginning harvest at 8 weeks with the first plant and I go from there.
This is just like nature- in the fall with the days getting shorter.
In veg you want light for growth- in flower dark to stimulate flowering.
Some will say don’t go under 12 hours of light- but I don’t see any pictures of plants with chunky buds finished in 8 weeks- which I have done with consistency-☮

Thank you so much..I will take your advice. I have her sister who's a few weeks behind her. Plus I topped her to soon..she maybe had 2-3nods on when I did..I told my bigger girl that night and I got to cut happy..she Survived. Just real short.. they are week - week and a half apart from each other. I was worries and mad I topped so early but it was a learning experience

Also you can flip whenever you want- usually based on the size of the plant in relation to your growing space and of course alternating nodes.
The plant will stretch when flipped so you have to plan for it.
