Flipping from flower to Veg. A week or 2 before harvest?

First time posting, long long time lurker, I usually find my answers, but this one I had no luck,
Well what I did was start 2 plants goldleaf, while I was in bloom with my older plants, I was planning that I would harvest before the the 2 goldleaf would start to bloom, well that didn't happen, I'm still a week or 2 out, and my new plant have buds starting, my question is will I hurt my blooming plants if I switch back to veg, 16-8. Till I harvest. And will my young blooming plants go back to Veg? Any advice is appreciated.
I don't have room for 2 rooms, what are my best options. Or what would you do?

Thanks

Put the small ones outside, or in another room?

I wouldn’t switch back,

maybe a lighting expert will answer that; most likely will

U say your one-two weeks off harvest?

So ... OK so ... wait a sec.

You are saying that the Goldleaf have buds starting to show while they are still in 16/8? Is the Golfleaf an auto?

It seemed to take nearly 3-4 weeks for my plants to show any signs of reveg after I put them back outside after the chop.

I truly don’t see if any side effects by switching this late would come about on your harvest, (this is when some one jumps on my case)
Yes some yield could be effected...
But at what cost to the newer gals?
If you can’t get them outside, or in another chamber, flip back and hope the last week doesn’t force the older gals into a stressed mess, and go hermi on you or worse..

But like I said up top, at this point in the game I don’t think your in for to much of a hurting flipping back...

Thank you cindysid, I thought about outside, not really an option plus bugs are like piranhas latley! I thought they would be ok I just wanted some reasurance!

MrX. I thought like you what harm could I do giving them more light right at the end. I guess that's why I`m here!

Love this sight! One of the best by far!

I’ve done monstercropping. Let them finish. Trust me. I think it’s inviting trouble to revert to long hours.
i'm with hotrod on this.. i'd either just veg the seedlings for 12 hours a day, or find a way so they can get a bit more light and not give the ones close to finishing more than 12 hours of light per day.. just seems like there's too many down sides and zero positives for the risk..

If it were me I would let the flowering plants finish under 12/12 and then reset to veg after they are harvested. The goldleaf will go right back to veg and you won't be sacrificing any yield or quality on the older girls.

This worked for me, thank you for all the replies.
