I'd go with 3 gallon or 5 gallon pots. I personally prefer the fabric pots but others prefer plastic.

People who grow in Solo Cups through flower just know what they are doing and are very good at it. The require constant watering & feeding and can also require root pruning.

Solo cups get complicated the longer you go in them.
Check out the solo cup challenge. It goes downhill quick. The folks that made it are on their game

i am concerned that my plants grow to big, because i read that the can triple in size when in flower...

This is why growers top them and tie branches down. It permits you to extend the veg cycle without them getting too tall.

i topped one plant but its not looking to good, the other one is much bigger than this one....
!Side note.. i got the LED lights now 2 weeks, before the plants where outside in the sun
