Fitting a growlab 40 tent

Ok, So i'm wondering if anyone can help me try to fit my tent.

I have a growlab 40 tent (http://www.homebox-growlab.net/en/product-grid)

I am also using a VERY LOW heat LED for lighting (http://www.kessil.com/horticulture/H380.php)

I want to use a carbon filter/fan to exhaust air out of the tent and also control odour. For this job I'm interested in the following products.

- GrowBright 4" Inline Duct Fan
(http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-4in-Inline-Duct-Fan)

- GrowBright Pure Flow 4 Jr. Carbon Filter (http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-GrowBright-Pure-Flow-4-Jr.-Carbon-Filter)

Im thinking if i just attach the carbon filter to the inline duct fan and set it up within the tent, directing the air outward, this should work ok given that the tent is so small and the LED I'm using will not be producing much heat at all?

Now i know this is not an actual inline fan but from what i gather from the youtube video below, these fans can be used as both intake and outtake fans fitted with a carbon filter?

I use one of these fans to vent my vent, but without a filter. I would suggest going to home depot and dropping the extra 10-15 bucks to get an inline fan with a metal blade. These ones with a plastic blade use a cheap shaft coming off the electric motor and mine started making really annoying sounds after a couple days. I regret not buying the better quality, but will certainly fix that on my next run.

All those duct booster fans work good at first but kinda lose some juice after about 3-4 months. I use them to help intake air but for exhaust a good inline fan is a lot better.

Ok great ill consider that! Thanks. So do you run a 4" as a exhaust in a GL40? That is what i am considering on trying (with a carbon filter).

Really? Even for a tent as small as a GL40? its only 6.8 cubic feet… Just curious :)

Those fan dont make the pressure needed to push or pull air through a filter. they are designed to help already moving air through ducting. Look at this
http://www.amazon.com/VenTech-Inline-Exhaust-blower-Scrubber/dp/B005GJ7TFE/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1414949059&sr=8-8&keywords=fan filter combo

You'll spend an additonal $20, but will be MUCH happier.

Thanks for your suggestion. I almost got it but I ended up going with these (4")

I emailed them and i was told that they are both compatible to work with each other? fingers crossed! Ill give it a go and if it doesn't work then Ill just buy a proper inline fan and use the duct booster as an outtake fan. :)
