I have a nice size pond out back cant wait to get out. I fished it out a few years ago because there were too many small gills. I haven't checked on it since. they should be a hell of a lot bigger by now

Getting out on the ice today, think we are going to try for some perch. I'll let yall know how we do

Out of a small private lake in south central MI. There is some 14-15 inchers in there just as fat!

I have a good perch spot too!! I don't think these are as fat as yours though. We usually get a 16" or 3 every year tho..

those are some nice perch very impressive. yeah hese were some fatties made great sandwiches.

Sw Lower, my lake (Lake I live on) still 90% open water???? May be the first year that the lake doesn't freeze over. No safe ice around except a few channels. Miss getting my shanty buzzzz on. Was thinking about getting the bass boat back out and gettn some gills and trout, MMmmmm. Be like the Titanic with a fiberglass hull.

The ice just got to fishable in the canals, and on a small private lake, but I couldn't get out. My friend said the first 10 ft were sketchy when he went out a few nights ago, the area we fish was 3". He's a big boy too, can't belive he went without me. He caught a limit of gills though.

Crazy fucker. I don't know if I'll trust any ice unless we get down to 10 for a high for a week. The ice I see is already honeycombed......that's the ice people die on.

Yeah the ice has got to be bad.. I started a new job this week so I haven't been out.. On a good note it's Wed and they haven't sent me for a pre-employment piss test yet..

I haven't smoked in about 3 weeks.. and I haven't had a cigarette in almost 2 weeks.. I'm so ready to smoke a fatty... fuck the cigarettes tho.
