First weekend of 12/12

Yo guys! This is my first photoperiod grow ( done 2 auto grows) & thought I'd try to keep some sort of journal. I hope to post with pics every few days, or at least once a week. Setup is as follows:

Secret Jardin ds90 (90x90x170cm).
Lumatek 400whps dimmable ballast.
6" rhino fan & filter, exhausted to loft space, 8" clip on fan.
11ltr pots, Biobizz light mix & perlite.
Biobizz nutes: heaven, grow, bloom & topmax, Epsom salts
PH 6.5 - 6.8

I've got 2 big Buddha LA Cheese (1 is a clone from the topping), 1 dinafem blue cheese & 1 HSO pineapple skunk. The LA is 2 weeks older than the rest and been topped twice. I planted (cloned) the top on the off chance( didn't hav clonex etc) & it's came on nice! The LA was vegged under 250hps 18/6 for 7 weeks, the rest 5. Yesterday was the first day of 12/12 & 400w hps. Also put in a new rhino 6" fan & filter, but I'm gonna move fan outside the tent & keep filter inside coz it's huge! I'm interested in any comments / suggestions anyone has. Here's a couple pics:

Thanks dude! Nothing much to report today! Been battling humidity issues when lights off! Going up to 75% (40% lights on). My tent is in a larger cupboard & the cupboard humidity is 60%+ lights off. I have a dehumidifier but I don't want to run it 12 hours. Maybe a small oil radiator will work? Anyone any other suggestion?

Dehumidifier in the cupboard (outside tent) has sorted my prob. I'm just keeping an eye on it & turning on when needed for hour or so. LA Cheese looked a bit pale so gave her 2ltr of water with following:
2ml/l bio heaven
2ml/l bio grow
1ml/l bio bloom
1ml/l top max
1ml/l cal mag.
Hope she greens back up a bit.

Nice set up pal, your girls are looking beautiful.

FYI, try using super thirive instead of clonex. It's brilliant but don't use it in flower. It'll cause herm & airy empty bud or just popcorn.

Have you attempted any LST yet?

Any Co2?

Your two prior grows, although with autos Is great experience, how are you finding the grow compared to the autos?

Yo dude! Yeah I've done a little bit of LST on the side branching, just can't see it! No co2. I'm finding it pretty similar as autos tbh just feels much slower & had to transplant! The total time from seed the LA's have been in my autos were nearly done by now! Got good yields & nice smoke off the autos so will have a better judgement at the end! Hoping the smoke is killer! Peace

I wouldn't go too crazy with LST on an auto though, because their lifespan only lasts around 90 days, LST could do more harm than good. I ran think different from Dutch passion few weeks ago, wasn't too bad, but I'd stick with photoperiod strains.
I'd got the TD for my girlfriend to try it, bitch let most of them die.


Haha yeah it'll take a little longer....but, the yield, potentcy, etc will be better.
I've super silver haze, cheese & one I like to call, "keggy kush" at the min

Try a little vinigar & baking soda on a plate to make co2, cheep & cheerful until/unless you upgrade.

Been using ph 6.7 through out grow and noticed some strange leaves. Checked runoff it was 5.8? Wtf? How's this happened? Do I just do a flush with higher oh till I get run off of 6.5-6.8? Sorry for noob question. Anyone?

Day 49. Here is the topped LA cheese. I think 3 weeks left roughly. Starting to smell real nice.

So my la is day 54 from 12/12 and thinking 2 weeks left. Needs watered tonight should I dilute feed? Been giving 3ml/l bloom 3ml/l topmax. Thinking giving 2ml each next 2 waterings then one last plain ph water. Anyone any thoughts on this? Thanks

Here is a pic of the blue cheese & a pic of them all. Will be 8 wk 12/12 on Friday & I thought they would've been a bit further than they are. I suppose I'm comparing it to my first 2 auto grows. Going to compare times/yield/potency etc & see if I'm going to stick with autos or photoperiods.

Was impressed with dinafem autos tbh. Pulled 9oz + twice off 5 plants on 250hps 10 -12 weeks from seed.

Here's the LA Cheese today day 60. Was thinking of harvesting her this weekend day 65/66. What's everyone think or shud i leave her another week? Can see a few ambers on her.

So keeping a journal didn't quite go to plan! I've been so busy with work and stuff. Anyway harvested them all and they've been curing nice. Got some killer smoke. The LA Cheese is a knockout indica stone! Blue cheese is a nice smoke and so is the pineapple skunk. For anyone that's interested the total dry weight was 292g (10.4oz) and 45g of trim for butter or hash etc. Really pleased with the results and hoping to start next grow very soon. Peace!
