My first trip to a hydroponic store was pretty awesome. I want to go back so bad. Im a soil grower and once i saw all those already set up hydroponic systems in reflective grow tents, with charcoal filters, the reservoir, the rock wool and stone with the hps lights. I WANT A SET UP SO BAD!!! But i dont know a thing about hydro or have that kind of dough to buy one. And i dont plant on building one now that i saw those set ups man those things were official. But the ones i saw where for like 4 plants. Ima need one for like ten. Any suggestions

the cheapest hydro set up also yields the biggest plants but on the flip side has the most maintanance you have to keep a extra close eye onit but imo thats the fun part of growing watching checking and all that you know.. any way im talking about DWC its under 20 to set up as many as you want all the buckets fit in a tent i have two tents now with this set up all you need is a 5Gal bucket and air stone and a net pot filled with hydroton.. Low Pressure Aero is like being in the right church, but in the wrong pew. Before you sink $$$ in low pressure aero, no offense Jesus, check out high pressure aero (HPA). there are several threads here. My rig is by far the least expensive to put together, and it's easy using Reptile Basics mist kit parts, which all quick connect/disconnect. You'll see pics of my rig when you visit. hth

Jesus of Cannabis, that is fuckin sweet. Makes me wanna get all of my hydro shit out of storage. That said,...Your first trip to a grow shop is like a kid in a candystore. You finally get to see all of the shit you see in magazines and online live and in person. I hope yours is closer than mine though. I have about 3.5 hours round trip to the nearest place.

it was only about 45 mins away but took me two hours to get there. couldnt find it to save my life. and yes i was so excited and overwelmed at all the growing technology. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK

Yea Hydro is cool . I did hydro my 1st grow and It was Great. MY ONLY COMPLAINT, I can fit MORE Soil plants under a 600w light than with Hydro, Tho hydro may yield more.. But I enjoy being able to rotate plants and such. This Soil run determines wether I go Hydro or Soil from now. Soil might have won tho, I am enjoying its simplicity.

thats pretty sick man. i plan on cloning in the future and using nothing but hydro
yeah better to switch completely to hydro not keep any soil in hydro room, its gota be clean the hydro... once you do hydro no turning back. i build my systems myself. i'm leaning more on flood/drain these days, did dwc a lot too, i switch between them depending on weather cold time i do dwc but not in summers, don't wana buy run or maintain a chiller f&d is more heat tolerant.

the only reason im not doin hydro rite now is because its so complex. i just wanna get used to how a mj plant is supposed to grow before i add technology into it
