Hello all, this is my first post, and my first grow. I did a good bit of research on how to go about this, from Lighting and aroma prevention to nutrients and plant development. I'm pretty sure I did a solid job, but theres always room to learn.

I have one auto-flowering Big Bud or Lemon Haze plant (not sure which cause the guy i got it from couldn't remember which was which >.<) in a closet grow sealed with 4mill plastic, a 150W HPS Light about 22in above it and its in a aeroponics setup. Two inline exhaust fans, one 6in pulling air out through a Carbon Filter, and one 4in inline exhaust pulling air in. Also have 2 fans moving air around, one toward the wall and one on the fan. (Two because the first one I got showed my plant what a Hurricane would be like lol)

When i first started I failed to see the importance of nutrients despite my research mostly because I was caught up more on the prevention of smell....until the tips began coming up with yellow spots. After a great deal of research, I'm pretty sure I figured out what the problems could be. Could have been excessive heat, or nutrient deficiency. So i raised the light up , and went to a hydro store in search of a good nutrient mix. When I talked to this guy at the store he suggested flushing the roots with tap water for a day and a half, make a small mix of cal-mag water solution and spray the leaves w/ it as the roots are flushed, and then adding this nutrient mix as its source of water. So I flushed the roots with tap water for a day and a half, sprayed the leaves a couple times a day, and last night I added FloraDuo A and B, and 1/8tsp of some Cal-Mag Pro. I am hoping to have everything under control at this point. But after flushing the roots the plant is looking....well kinda like it is dieing....To be more specific, some of the leaves are beginnin to droop down and the yellow-tip ones are curling somewhat as well. Idk...it just looks like its all drooping now. So the main reason for this post (aside from having a way to ask for help when/if needed) is just some assurance that I haven't made some dumb first time growers mistake. Is this from the flushing of the roots? Or did I spray the cal-mag on the leaves to much? I think I got all my bases covered, but as it is my first grow, I'm going by what I pick up off the internet. Maybe I need to just be patient and let the nutrients take hold...but any help or advice would be very helpful!

what is your spray cycle?what is the ph of flush water and nute mix?

For the spray, i didnt really have a cycle. Just sprayed it a little bit maybe every 4-5hours. The first day might have been a little more, but I wasn't sure how often to spray etc. The second day it was closer to 4-5hours / spray I would say
And the Ph was 6.0 for both

I am talking aeroponic not foliar spraying.I do not do aero but you should google aeroponic specific searches like:aeroponic plant problems or aeroponic spray cycle.
ph is good

Ok I will check it out. Thanks!
Oh and the ph, I think i was wrong. I didnt check the ph when i flushed because I thought it was gonna be low. I was mistaken. I checked it today, just to see and it came up 7.0-7.4. But i have balanced the nutrient mix out and its back at 6.0 so everything should be ok right? But like i said, the leaves are looking unhappy. Heres some Pics

hydro PH sweet spot is 5.5 to 5.8.. you'll start getting lock outs with your ph that high.

is your plant growing out of a single slot toaster held together by rubber bands and pencils?

Your problem is plainly obvious. You have fed it too much. It is burned. Get yourself a TDS meter and start a regimen of 600PPM for the first 2 week, then increase by 200 each week until you want to flower, then start at 800 PPM flowering nutes and work your way back up until a few weeks from harvest and then start tapering down to almost none the last week.

Haha no it is not a single slot toaster lol. I had yet to see anything like it myself until a friend gave it to me. It is a Power plant aeroponics system with a sponge medium. It has water jets inside that pump the nute water into the sponge. And ya, it is using pencils for supports. Im in the process of building actual ones so it did the trick for now haha.

NoDrama, thx for the info. Whats a TDS meter and where can i get one? Does it measure nutrients ppm?

Cowell Ill add some pH down. Thx!

TDS stands for Total Disolved Solids. NoDrama was onto something. I don't do hydro so can't help you but pm him and ask him to elaborate about the ppm's or w/e. He's a cool cat. Just not as cool as me. Lolz.
