First Timer With One Main Question

Hi, I'm growing inside for the first time this winter. I gutted out a cpu for a grow box and it's pretty much set to go, but, before I get started I need to pick a light.
Inside the cpu I can only grow one MAYBE two small plants, so what light would I need?
I am still in my parents home so I want to get one that doesn't jack up the bill too much.
And for whatever light how much does it cost to run?
AND finally, which plant should I get if it can't get very wide and not too tall either?

Get 6500 CFL's for veg and 2700 for flowering. Get autoflowering strains. They are nice and small.

i need two lights?
I haven't heard this before.

There are different spectrums of light that is optimal for plant growth in the different stages (veg/flower). 6500 for veg and 2700 for flowering. If you are doing auto's then just use the 2700 from start to finish.

The 2700 is just a squiggly curly cfl bulb that screws into a normal socket. 1000w hps is way different. You couldnt use it in a pc grow. You'd melt the damn thing.
