I know, I should've looked for an open thread with similar info before posting, but lets face it, we're all lazy.

Anyway, I'm going to grow some ghetto regs as practice plants. So as to not waste money and fail. But after I get a little experience, I was wondering what would be an easy indoor strain to start with.

I'm not really concerned about potency or the type of high. My only condition is no funny flavored stuff. I prefer weed to taste like weed. I think a small plant would be best, but I don't know if maybe small plants are harder to care for or what. So the main focus is on beginner level.

Thanks in advance and happy blazing. :joint:

Oh and one more thing. I notice in the seed websites it says Yield: some number. Say it says pack of 10 seeds and then yield 300-400. Would that be the yield per plant? Or total of ten plants?

I know that's probably a noob question, but it would make a huge difference.

Many seed websites rate growing difficulty the growers experience level, easy, moderate, experienced. So look at indoor or indoor/outdoor seed and check the experience level.
Hope this helps!

two strains that would be good for you are top 44 or big bud.
They're both rated as easy to grow and quick flowering.

Yea, I think I'm gonna go with Big Bud after I'm done practicing with garbage. Right after I save up a few duckets and build myself a closet.

I'm still surfing the wealth of information on this site. I've seen some videos and I think I know what I need as far as lighting and watering and ventilation. I'll be growing in soil, so I'm still a little lost on all the different kinds and soil nutrients and stuff.

I've seen several people on here using Fox Farms Tiger Bloom, Fox Farms Grow Big, and Fox Farms Big Bloom for their nutes. I'm sure you could get by using those. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still new to this to. My seeds haven't sprouted yet so I haven't had a chance to use any of those just yet.

Look for a grower with the nic techna, he has a grow journal going that shows the difference in his plants from when he switched to grow big...nice results I must say. Actually, I found the link. Here it is....
