First Timer - Desperate Question (early bud nipping)

Hello all,

So among others, I am trying to grow my first plant. I failed few times, trashed some plants along the way. This time, my plant made it to flowering. I don't know how much I am in flowering stage, I did not keep a calendar for it.

As you can see from the photos, I am growing them in a cabinet (illegal country) with 2 huge lamps, 2x200W according to the label on the product. I have 2 PC fans and another USB fan inside. Not sure about the origins of seed, I found it in one of the buds I bought from my dealer. I tried to give it a go, and it is working.
It is very early still, the smell covers the entire house almost, I don't see those thrichrosomes or whatever the right term is (not an English speaker). It's only green and white pistils coming out of flower. And whenever I touch it, my fingers are getting real sticky.

So my question have been asked many times before, but every plant to it's own I guess. Obviously, I want to get high, and want to try one of those nugs in the bottom. I can't buy finished productbecause I literally have no money and still need to wait 12 days to get salary. So all my hope is that plant right now, but not sure how realistic this is. I read that it hurts your plant if you pull one of those nugs, is this true ? Can pulling only one, effect the entire plant ? I don't really care about the potency or the smell, like I said, I am kinda desperate for any amount of weed.

I know the general idea is to wait for the right time to harvest. I am not planning to harvest completely, just something to get me through for 2-3 days, at least this weekend.

Hey, I'm a new grower too in a very similar position to you.... I haven't smoked in over 3 months... tolerance break for the win XD

As tempting as it may be in my opinion it wouldn't be worthed.. Till you dry and cure it you would be better off just leaving it as is.

I'm sure it would effect the plant somewhat since its already in the flowering stage and not veg anymore.

I see trichomes, the tiny crystals on the leaves near the buds. The buds will be covered in them. It's not far enough along to get much of an effect from smoking one of the premature buds. You've got at least 6 to 8 weeks until they are ripe for harvest. Looking healthy by the way!

They look good. It's trichomes in English. They're not even close to finished, but you know that. If I was desperate I'd take a bud and dry it. The plant will carry on growing but don't get too greedy, just a bud or two won't stunt her growth.

Take whole stems from the bottom up but you still need to dry a couple days. Early trichs are kinda buzzy and thc needs time to cure and gain potency. Its harsh because of chlorophyl, like eating green fruit. We’ve all been there.

Wow, so quick! Much obliged everyone :)
I should have found this forum ages ago. I have been browsing the threads like crazy. Very cool stuff!
Off topic question, while I have experts here. As you can see, I removed almost all the fan leaves from the plant. Thought it would be better for the light cover more areas. This should be OK right ?

They look fine and you got a couple weeks to learn about drying and curing. Real easy to lose it to mold.

Removing fan leaves is open to opinion. I generally try to avoid it but many do it. The theory is to remove fans that block buds from getting light. They need fans to photosynthesize though. Experiment and see what works best for your setup.

Hi Again,

Got two questions.
A)11 days passed since my last post. Do you think it is going slow with flowering ? I feel like there is no progress. Feeding with nutrients and distilled water.
B) Please see second plant. It is an auto, and it started to flower at very early stage. Again, you can compare with the pictures in first post (one of two small plants have been removed due to lack of room). Is this normal ?

Flowering takes a while...they don't grow buds overnight and you are barely halfway though...if that. The plant on the right looks to be about week 4 of flower...they will start swelling in the next couple weeks as long as you correct your nutes and or pH...could be a phosphorus issue...

The auto...well, they sometimes do weird shit...looks ok, just small.

It takes 8-12 weeks of 12/12 lighy for most plants to mature. The autoflower looks only 2 or 3 weeks fom mature. Keep an eye on your trichomes when they are all cloudy and your hairs are 2/3 to 3/4 brown its ready to pick

If you’re really desperate to the point of being willing to sacrifice some yield you could give them less hours of light.

Running an auto on 12/12 made it mature much quicker for me. I’m sure 10/14 would be even faster.

The buds are a lot skinnier than the same strain run on 20/4 though.
