if bud development has ceased and your trich's are milky and possibly turning amber on leaves then I would say you're golden. otherwise I'd recommend waiting because you can chop down a lot of hard work in a matter of minutes and be quite disappointed when you could've waited two more weeks and made two or three months really worth it.
