I use enough to turn the top of the soil/bucket/medium white then let it work it's way in naturally. I add it immediately when I start a plant, then again half way through the grow when the white layer is mostly gone. I'm guessing like 2 tablespoons per 5 gal, but I just eyeball it anyway.

out of the five I cut down 2 that were really stunted(5-6-15)...a third stunted one I just pinched the top off about 3-4 nodes from top...I can see lady parts on the fourth,,,and the fifth only time will tell...now that I know I have a lady I want to clone etc...don't know where to start...plant is 6 weeks old and has no training whatsoever...no topping,,,fimming,,,or lst...im gonna veg a lil while longer to try to find out how to get my plants healthy...my first practice run sucks...but I already sowed 10 more seeds on the 24th which 9 sprouted on the 27th...7 bagseed 2 afghani freebies...before I yellow leaf up my paid for beans,i want enough practice with something cheap...20120105_000201 - Copy.jpg plant number 5...idk sex yet,,,has some issues though..
