First time with PM indoors. How fun.

Well - I found the start of powdery mildew in my 4x4 and in the 4x8. Not a huge outbreak so I’m hoping with some defoliation, adding a few more fans and biweekly Dr Zymes foliar I can get it under control.
The 4x4 is a bit easier to treat as I’m only day 4 of flower and I can get in there and move around.
the 4x8 is a shit show right now with plants as tall as me with a trellis up.
Wish me luck.

You won’t win…pm has always made me shut down and start again, its the worst thing to happen to anyones garden.
How did you do a reset? My grow room is a carpeted basement room so it’s going to be challenging. First time in two years that I’ve had it.

Get a heater in there on a temp controller to regulate night time temp swings. The dip in lights out temp causes the mold to release the spores, then it thrives on lights on conditions. With lights out, spray h2O2 on everything. Let it evaporate. This will kill the pm but not all the spores. After the plant dries spray citric acid 1/8 tsp / liter of water. Let that dry fully before turning lights gradually back up. Mop up any stubborn wet spots. The citric acid will change the ph of the leaf preventing the spores from germinating.

Get your environment under complete control, and be sure to spray everywhere even outside your tent. Spray your filter with rubbing alcohol. Spray around your grow with whatever won't bleach the carpet. Steam clean the carpet

I’m not sure what changed. I’ve ran the same parameters every grow. Guess it was just my time.
I have a heater in the room set to 73. My tent daytime temps are around 78-80 and night time 69 ish.

Also I’m on a perpetual grow in that room. I don’t know if I should just finish them all and treat the room all st once - or just treat each tent as it finishes and clean the room throughout.

Fogger with Hypoclorus acid , Danolyte is one example. Kills pm and safe through flower. Even post harvest wash.
I actually have some agrowlyte here at home already that I never opened. Recommend a fogger? I can use it to deep clean between runs too I suppose?

I actually bought another thing of Agrowlyte, a fogger and to top it off, an HOCL generator to create my own. I’ll win. Fuck this PM.

This is the way. Start at 3-400 ppm. Some say 500 can be a bit high, if I recall correctly. Edit Agrowlyte says 1:1 with water.

Did you have big swings in your day/night humidity?

You brought it in somehow. You can carry the spores for hours after coming in contact with it outside. I personally haven’t only seen very small amounts in isolated areas on my outdoor plants but never indoors thankfully..
Some people swear by not entering their grow area after being outside. Like shower or at least change your clothes bf entering.
