Im currently growing two plants with my new 300 watt led grow light ive used cfl before with good luck. Im working with seeds i got in a few bags one was called candyland one was from a diesel mix, hopefully i have atleast one female! They are just about four weeks old i used a mix of fox farms ocean forest and light warrior. So far they are looking good, i want to keep them small as i live in nys and im renting, cant wait for it to be recreational here!

These pics are from today, im not sure why the ones turning a bit yellow im thinking its just the soil being hot. I havent givin them anything but plain water hopefully nothing crazy happens.

Nice grow.
I've recently returned to RIU to start my owm Journal using LED for the first time.
Looking forward to following your experience.
My 600W LED just came today, I'll be sure to let you know when I start my Journal.

Thanks, its coming along nicely so far. I just added a few of my cfl bulbs to the grow box in hopes of getting light to the bottom of the plants. My led light is 140 tru watts from what i read and i added about 100 watts from the cfls. Ive been thinking about switching over to flower schedule November 1st but im not sure yet, i want to keep them small and im still learning.

Transplanted into bigger containers and switching to 12/12 tonight, they seem to have taken to the new containers pretty good.

I would recommended not transplanting and light switching at the same time...
In my mind it amounts to open brain and spine surgery at the same time.

No need to soil shock and light shock the ladies all at once...gotta smooth talk them into their transition.
Just my two sense, otherwise still enjoying the pics!

How long should i wait? I was going to do it Wednesday but figured i should do it asap as i dont have a ton of room vertically.

Just the extra week of 18/6 to and then do the light swap. Just a recommendation.
Strong roots allow for the bud weight to be supported by the plant, further encouraging her to get fat as fuck.
...pardon my french.

I hope i get some nice nuggs out of it, the main reason im doing what im doing is for practice, ive flowered with cfl before didnt do to bad. I think im going to add another led light next time and top them to help keep them shorter durning veg. Doing a few practice runs before i buy quality seeds and hopefully my state will leagalize recreation soon

Im going to guess this one ended up a male, tell me whatcha think people?

Hard to see but looks like balls to me

Give it a like one more week bro. That way you can know for sure. It looks to be males but id wait until your sure then trash.
Ill give it a few more days, i switched to 12-12 monday so it should deff be showing for sure soon. I started two plants and i have 1 female out of the 2 so thats not bad at all.

Consider switching to full spectrum led lighting. IE cobs or QB. That or stick to HPS. Blurple "led" lights are very inefficient and lack the correct light spectrum that can lead to nutrient deficiency in your plants. You will never get the results you seek with those kind of lights. Not to mention their lighting footprint sucks. If it says it flowers a 3x3 area for example it's more like a 2x1.5 area. I know from personal experience and offer this advice in the most sincere way. Good luck with your grow.

Can't really be to angry with a 50/50 result. Definitely the hardest part about growing with unknown seeds.
The pic I looked at didn't really convince me it was male yet tho..definitely give her some time to prove you wrong.

Well im 99% sure this ones male, i see no sign of hairs at all so im gunna toss it.

I appretiate the advice i do think its a step up from cfl lights though, im interested in knowing what better led lighting i could get can you give me more info on them? I got the light i got due.to budget at the time bit it is suppose to be full spectrum. Im still learning indoor growing so i figure a few runs on a budget system befor i go bigger and better.

I took these today, shes been under 12/12 for about a week now.
