An ordinary light will not give out the spectrums required (blues and reds).
The nearer the light , the happier the plant, it will stretch when wanting more light.
You want your stem to be about one-two inches high when the first leaves (not seed leaves) appear, then hopefully less than 1cm inbetween nodes (next set of leaves appearing). the more close together the leaf sets grow, the better.
Do not worry about transplanting it yet, get its roots growing strong.
CFL (compact floresent light) is good , can have quite a few and get a good crop.
MH , metal halicide gives off blue light. good for vegging but can used throughout the whole growing process.
HPS, high pressure sodium , this is the light that gives off the reds. This is great for flowering, again also can be used for both flower and veg.
Now ideally to get the bestest ever plants you would run both lights at same time. The more light power there is , the better the end product.
but this is not always good if you on a budget and also the size of room you have is very important to what lighting you need.
Now you need to let us know how much space you have to grow in.
All i recommend is Just fill them pots up with more soil just below your yellow leaves and be very ... very ..patient ...
No need for transplanting yet, this will stress your plant out and stress is no good for a female.
give no plant food for three weeks, just water when damp, do not spray leaves.
The first round seed leaves only feed the plant whilst first growing so do not worry about them going yellow.
Research & plan what you need to do whilst waiting for those babies to grow up.
