First Time Using Silica.

With all the talk about using silica I figured I would give it a try on this grow, I know they say your soil already has silica but I figured what the heck it can’t hurt and it really beefed up the branch joints a little.

I'm hydroponic, and when I started using silicon, the results were very palpable.

Can you put it in your main tank with the other nutes? Im reading conflicting stuff online

Mix the silica into water first, before nutes. It raises the pH considerably.
It takes several hours (overnight is better) to fully bond with the water.
More stable pH wise when mixed with nutes aferwards.

The silicic acid costs 10x as much as silica, make your own choice there.
