Hello fellow growers, newbie here with a topping question! I have 2 healthy Durban Sunrise Autoflowers (Sativa) that I just topped, and i'm wondering how my timing is and if i did it in the proper location. Prior to topping, I read that having a healthy growing plant during veg with 3+ internodes and 6+ nodes is a good rule of thumb before topping. I did my best counting the internodes and nodes and believe it was a good time to top before my babies got too tall. My 2 plants both started showing signs of rapid veg growth with true leaves (5 blades) and white pistils at some nodes developing. I transplanted my tiny seedlings in rockwool and then into my DWC buckets around (February 22nd) and today 59 days later (April 23) is when i did my first topping. So again with the pics i provided, do you guys think my timing/location of topping is ok? Was it too late or too early? Also, how do my girls look for being about 2-3 weeks into veg? I'm nervous, as this was my first topping, so any info or assurance would be appreciated! (I will be setting up my net for scrog in the next few days and i hoping these lovely ladies will widen out and develop a nice canopy)!
