First time seed order

Well I'm on my 5th grow , and I been using nothing but bagseeds thus far and I think it's time to get some good genetics but I'm clueless when it becomes to this. I'm growing for personal use using a 600w in a 3x3 tent. I'm also gonna try to get a blockbuster 6 reflector so I get a nice yield. I'm looking for suggestions on strains that would be good and easy for a first time good genetics person to grow. I'm looking for cheaper seeds though because I'm not sure how much shipping costs and the bagseeds I grow now is from middies and I think it's good, so anything above that ill be happy with.

first it depends on where u are in the country ....................ordering seeds is not a 100% get to u it all depends on where u get how u have it shipped and what day/where does it come go tho

if u are chicgo close u are pretty fucked they have upgraded the system and they detect alot more if u are new york it gets tho normally.................the other parts i am unsure of

as for strains................do to the time engery and cost Auto flowering plants are the better of the choice unless u plan to grow one room for like 4 months in veggie and then 3 more in flower then photo wins in the cost to benifit fight

look at Auto Seeds brand i got great results first time out eash plant got me a oz off the berry ryder under t5s ..............doing the trans now of it looks like 2 oz off the plant but i have had better lights and soil .................going to try the auto pounder

not like barneys farm auto seeds

but biodiesel mass...............great seed huge plant indoor soil big yeilds

The default begginer genetics are a Northern Lights strain. High percentage indica, stays short compact growing a quickly and is relatively easy to grow. It is has a lot of "zest" and can withstand a couple noob mistakes. Personally I would just look for a strain that looks appealing to you taste wise, or what ever suits you and go with it. If your not growing what you like, might as well save money on genetics and keep with bagseed.

I started northern lights, white widow, (also a great beginner strain) and Bubba kush all at the same time for my first grow. I lost the northern lights only on (surprisingly, its supposed to be the easiest one). But the other two have done well.

Honestly, I would suggest the Bubba kush. I got mine from attitudes (hso was the breeder) and that thing has done awesome. It very rarely even wilts. Even when my other plants were over/under watered, the Bubba kush always looked great.

Not to mention, even through veg, you can tell its gonna be the dankest (one of at least) compared to all my bag seed.

This is coming from a newbie in their first grow.

I'm inclined to disagree. I've ordered seeds here in the past month and they went through Chicago with no problems. Got here in less than 2 weeks from date of ship. Auto's probably will save you 2-3 weeks but the decreased yield isn't worth it.

I've been using herbies head shop for years and have always had my orders show up, unless usps lost it.

With that said, I've had good success from breeders like Barney's Farm, G13 labs, DNA Genetics. All IMO are great breeders.

Personally, I think a good starting point would be G13 labs Pineapple Express, really fast growing, high yielding potent strain.

the more I was reading about autos, the more I agree with you. I'm just gonna get a seed idk which lol guess it doesn't really matter as long as its feminized and I won't have to worry about males lol. Ill take a look at the Pineapple Express.

My seeds just got confiscated at the los angeles branch :(
Aww that sucks. I live east coast. Only thing I can do is try...I'm just gonna order after this grow because my cheap ass tent doesn't have big enough ducting holes to vent properly and I nd to get a jardin ASAP and maybe even a blockbuster hood so I get nice light spread

Mind giving a few details? Which company? Did you order stealth shipping, breeder packs or no, # of seeds..

Just some general data to try and help pic out patterns (if there are any) of the ones that get snatched

I'm growing some TNT Kush fem. seeds from Herbies Pick n Mix. Growing in a 10gal Smartpot. It's been a very easy and low maintenence plant. Grows well in nitrogen poor conditions. It's been very pest resistant also. I topped it twice and it is now about 6', very symmetrical with long spears that have lots and lots of buds stacking up. I really like this plant a lot and if the smoke is quality ill definitely be growing more. The sugar leaves are already getting frosty. I'm thinking this will produce high quality smoke. It's a pure Indica by the way.

Nice, bw, and yeah mrshim-- you're lucky (at least a little bit) BC Chicago has not only been catching a lot of attitudes orders coming through and confiscated, but there's even some asshole writing "SHIT!" and putting a frowney face on there when he jacks them. I'd be so pissed.
