First time RooR buyer! Pics!

I just purchased my first piece of RooR glass yesterday and am 100% satisfied. My gf wasnt impressed with it visually because of its chemistry-like appearence, but after one bowl her mind had changed. Its incredible smoke!

Anyways, I paid $220 for it and I also got a free spoon pipe that was listed for $45.

What do you think ?

Not sure about prices elsewhere, but in MI Roors are$$ that would have been $300 easy.

its a roor, lol.. if you think that one is pricey, you should check out their site.. i think the one i have had my eye on runs somewhere around five hundred bucks, but i can't bring myself to blow that kinda money on a bong, as awesome as they are..

Ok so you just pay for the name why not go to a local blower and git killer head peace that is one of a kind? A roor is made on a lathe pumped out by the shit load and you still pay top $ for them? Support your local glassblowers. Not to bust on your peace it is nice.

Here is all the information you need to know about Roor. It's a nice piece of glass. Trust me, the headshop had some very, very nice glass in there blown by local artists that seriously could have been featured in high times glass awards.. I didnt have $6500 to shell out for it..They also had smaller ones but they were all over $1000

Fuck everyone ragging on your piece, you got a kick ass roor for a hell of a deal 18 inch roor plus a spoon for $220 congrats man, if you have the money it's worth spending it, people don't understand what paying for names mean, it means everything is better about, high quality glass, much thicker glass, and years worth of special design to make each and everyone effectively perfect. That spoon is sick too, did you just say if you throw in the spoon I'll take it for $220 or was it just a local deal, where you buy a bong and get a pipe?

Thanks for the positive comments. Yeah, I basically said throw in a spoon of my choice and I'll take it for $220. I had 3 different roors in front of me to choose from, the lady saying they would all be the same price. Anways I offered $200 for my choice, which the lady agreed to instantly (they had $320 stickers on them), so I think I could have gotten a little lower. She wanted $220 after she found out I wasn't paying in cash, which I said was fine. The RooR I choose was the shorter of the 3 and it had a beaker bottom which i prefer (other two were straight tubes). I then asked if I could choose a spoon since I was paying the extra $20 and I had chosen the smaller of my three choices.

It's not like RooR's are blown by machinery equipment or something, so I don't know why everyone rips on a "big name factory brand" piece. Every roor has an artists signature on it.

I also prefer the beaker bottoms, especially compared to straight tubes, but I also find that is the preferable shape for ripping cause when it is tilt basically one whole side of the beaker is open to fill with air. I was at some sketchy ass apartments buying one time, and some guy there had his 30 in roor beaker bottom, and he let me load a personal bowl and I got so fucked up, only problem was I basically had to leave right after that, but I guess I'm damn use to driving high now. But if I was to buy my own roor I would effectively look for one very similar to yours cause a 12 inch bong is just about perfect imo for everyday use, but an 18 inch bong feels much better and they rip just perfectly

I think you arent understanding what a good product with a good reputation is. The same can be said for cars. Would you say to someone who is driving a BMW or Mercedes "Hey, you got ripped off! You could be driving a KIA or Honda and it would be the same thing." Would it? Not really, I would much rather being rolling in a benz than a civic. I just think that "You bought a name brand" is an obviously stupid statement. duh? Yeah, I bought the brand that I know is good, will perform, and will last over time.

While I would have a very hard time parting with that kind of cash for a bong, it looks like a nice quality piece of work...congrats.

I still have to take a milky rip out of a ROOR. I don't think I'd ever buy one though.

I already bought a volcano, and if I want smooth rips that fuck you up I just casually puff on that. No ashes or alcohol/salt shake cleaning sessions either.


But I ain't raggin on you dude it's definitely some nice glass! The above is just my situation.
