Veg - Day 6 from Germ
Lighting - 18/6
Temps - 84F (Lights On) - 73F (Lights Off)

Decided to take out the second plant just to make sure I have enough room, being this is my first grow.

So down to 1 plant went ahead and planted into the 6in pot with FFOF. Just time to wait and hope it shoots up.

I did, and it looks smaller then it was cause I covered part of the stem with some FFOF when I put the Jiffy pot in the clay pot..

Your attention to detail shows in the cabinet(s) you have made. I'm sub'd +rep
Thanks, there is some stuff I will do different after this grow that money didn't allow me to do this time, but tried to do the best I could with what I had lol..

Wow, MoNkO, this looks like a great grow!! I read through all 8 pages lol. First time I have done that on a grow journal, I think lol. I usually just skip around. But this looks cool! I like how you did your lights, I suck at stuff like that. Can you send me your "recipe" for making that? I would love to put 2 of those in my grow cab!! It would work great I think! Somehow, I need to setup my lights different. Anyway, great looking grow box! I'm subbed for sure.
As for the 2 plant idea, I also would go with 1 plant. Reason being is, lights. With 5 lights, your barely going to have enough lumens for 1 plant, let alone 2. You would need double that amount of CFL for 2 plants. Plus CFL do not penetrate the canopy very well. Even with LST. Only reason I know that, is because I am experiencing it right now with my CFL's LOL. So just want you to have the best grow, and that's my tiny 1/2 penny's worth lol.
Oh yeah, as far as nutes go, do not add any in the first 30 days. FFOF says that on the package, and I followed it, and I was extremely happy with the results. Apparently, I have a huge bush lol. That's what I been hearing lol. I know many folks might nute early, but there is really no need, or is there? All I know is, I went without for the first 30 days, and I never had any bad coloring or yellowing or anything, just some great growth.
Anyway, I am a bit ahead of you on the LST and the grow cycle, so I will give you any knowledge that I glean from my grow to try to help out. Also, I made an LST ring for my plant, and it works, but not so well. It pulls the plant too far outside the container. And I am in a small box, so it's a pain, the plant hits the edges all the time now. I was thinking of those staple spike things you can buy at the hardware store. Thing is, I dont' want to chop a root lol.
Anyway, great journal so far, tons of replies! I wish I had that many on mine! Good Job! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for stopping through my grow, I'll send you a PM with some details on how I built the rack for the lights.

As far as nutes go this grow I probably won't use anything for veg, I'll just let the nutes in FFOF take care of it. But by the time it comes to flower I should have enough moneys to get some Indonesian Bat Guano, Molasses, air pump, and 2 x 4" air diffusers. Need the pump and diffusers to create my tea, from what I've read Bat Guano/Molasses is a good tea for floweri

Ok so these pictures are 7 days from germ and 3 days from sprouting out of soil..

To me it looks pretty healthy the top leaves are green green, soil was a little dry this morning and leaves looked it, watered plant and check back a few mins ago and took some pictures.

Hope they are healthy, any comments/suggestions/advice welcome.

its so...... perfect :D
just a little baby :')
lol yup, can't wait till I get to do something other then water it.

Since its a clay pot I have an idea on what I'm gonna do as far as LST. Will take some zip ties and some string, since I don't think tape will really hold on it.
Messed up when buying the pots, was a little high and overlooked the plastic ones like I was there for lol.

Looking good bro, I'm subbed!

My advice to you is keep doing what your doing, don't let them dry up to much but you do want to let them dry up to a certain extent. Just pay close attention to the plant and soil and it will tell you when it wants water, the key is to water it right before that point lol..

You will probably get more attention in this thread but I'll keep an eye on both :)
