First time outdoors

So ive completed 1 grow indoors, on second one now.. I am also doing a outdoor grow for the first time and I just was just curious about some things..

When do i plant outdoors in eastern canada ?
When does the stage change from veg to flower?
And, when do I harvest ?


Also ... I dug up the ground and put in some pro mix was that a good or bad move ...

will flies eat my weed?

I would think that you would start plants as soon as the last frost is past. I would try to find a strain that finishes fairly early since you are so far north. That's all I have.
