First time into flower

I've read on here that it is 1 tablespoon per gallon. I don't know if there is a difference between the nutes or not. Use all that you mix because it will ferment in the bottle and REEK if you make too much poor it on some roses.

I am not sure. didn't you say your growing some hydro mix? or am I dreaming, I think most hydro people don't go with molasses, because it gunks up something. I personally have never grown that way, I'm old school all the way, my signature says it all. Dirt, seed, water, Light, nutes what's the big deal? I say you could do them more harm than good at this point. They look great and in the end you don't want those big ol water leaves to smoke anyway. So I reread your beginning and I see your doing dirt with hydro mix? I have no freakin idea of this, I say try a little at a time and see what happens if you over do it just flush it out the best you can and then let it dry. I still say it looks good. I do the molasses to feed the buds and makes them smoke smooth after you cure them.

so you dont use any nutes at all during the veggin and flowering period??

Yeah I use nutes but not anything to do with Hydro I don't have any expierence with that at all.I don't use any of that High dollar stuff, some of that stuff can be pretty darn spendy. hell when I first started I was using stuff like miracle grow. It works, I think some people just wanna be organic so they would never do a miracle grow type nute. read around these forums and your bound to find the answer to everything ever asked. I recently started the molasses thing and it worked great. It's just real hard to answer your questions when I don't want you to ruin anything. Some one should have chimed in by now if we were talking wrong about something so I am gonna say you are doing great.Keep it up. do what your doing. It looks great now so I wouldn't do anything too drastic. The molasses will just feed the buds so I doubt you can hurt them with that at 1 tablespoon per gallon. and not everytime you water either.

well im almost sure it needs more potassium so im just figurine by adding about a 1/2 tsp. in a gallon of my nute mix i can see if it gets a little better but hopefully it wont get drastically worse cause i can always flush the hell out of it right?

You are right it won't hurt anything. Some people say don't use it until second month of the bud cycle and some use it the whole time, You won't hurt a thing by giving it molasses and your also right, if you did too much you can flush it out. I still say you did a great job this time and you got buds and didn't kill it so... Do what you feel is right. I was real glad to see some people come in and look and give you kudos... I'm giving you a plus rep cause you did well and people tend to see them and look more into your grow the more + reps you got. Just don't harvest too early and it takes patience then you have to cure them for awhile and then....... Ahhhh it's all worth it in the end.:peace:

Cool man thanks for the good rep, I was thinkin for harvest im gonna wait another 3 weeks to make and even 2 months of flowering with nutes then flush for 1week, earlier today i squeezed a nugg and smelld my fingers and that girl smelld bomb so i cut off a little peice at the bottom to test i couldnt help myself im just gonna let it sit in a drawr for a couple days, but when it comes time to harvest what do you think is the best way to cure?

Your right it sure is white, um let's see at such a young age it shouldn't be nutes, it could be too much water, or too much or too hot light.

I was doing a little investigation and I think your right it may be over watering, let them dry a little more but not too dry, they could damp off . You know where the stem dies and they fall over dead! roots don't grow if they have water right there, and at this stage you want a nice healthy root system looking deeper for water so they will be nice and strong. That's why I go from little pots to a little bigger and so on. the other thing I saw was there is a fungus out there doing the same thing so hopefully your watering fix will help and it ain't a damn fungus.

Hey M.j. i was readin about fungi and what not and i read somethin that said that the older yellow leavs can cause funus on my flowering plant but growFAQ made it sound like a bad idea to cut them off what u think about pruning? ill try to get a pic up of the leaves as soon as i get a cam.

Let's see, if it was in the wild anything could happen to leaves, yes I have seen where people say it's bad to prune. But at what cost? If you think it could be a problem affecting the rest of your plant, prune it. My opinion. I don't think it will hurt it that much.I have pruned in the past and the only thing that happened was I had a space in between the buds, so instead of one big long bud it was big bud, space, bud. Those big leaves do serve a purpose. Like protecting the flower. So don't go crazy and prune them all just pluck the yellow ones. I too have a shitty camera, But the good news, I GOT MY NEW HPS LIGHT TODAY. YAHOO!!! Can't wait to get her going. By the way. I try like hell to not do seed, I clone. Have you ever tried cloning? I know you need seed to try new strains, but once you get a female, then your set for a long time, but you have the same weed all the time.

well i bought some shulz rootin stuff at wall-mart never worked out, but you say your 600w came through huh? i got the 400w but i still wish i got the 600, the cool think about the HPS is that they make MHconversion bubls for veg. but lookin at some CFL journals CFLs seem to do just as good a job for veg. only cheaper.

Of course I just went and got some more stuff I needed and that did include CFL's so all's good in my land. I was reading one cfl thread and it got pretty off track and heated!! I hate to admit it but I love reading those threads. It's very interesting how angry some become because someone else does not agree with them. To each their own. looking for your pic's when you get your camera. I personally just have some small clones and a Momma plant so nothing new to show. One of the strains was a dissappointing sativa so I killed it off, and gave the babies to a friend.
