First time indoor lol

Alright so I I started some seeds in a wet paper towel two days later they germinated so i put them in soil left them for two days in the soil with no light saw two sprouts out of the 12 seeds so what do I do but put them 15" under a 400w MH with a heating pad underneath mind going these girls are in .4 gals. So today a week later they not doin so well two that sprouted arnt looking so hot and I had two water twice since planting and I'm thinking it's the light. Do these plants yet have hope? Should I turn the light off til they all sprout?

Seedlings need light...even just a t5 or cfl to start...400w too intense for babies.

What do you think doc if I implement a much softer light will they love

Yes.
... once they grow true leaves and get a bit bigger.then they can go under mh.

Okay so what I'll do is wait til the light goes off tn then replace the light with a softer one and also water the substrate once more and call it good?

Little update:

4 of the 12 have sprouted. 1 of the 4 looks like its going to make it. As for the other three, their starter leaves are yellowish orange and look to not make it. Is there any way to boost these three along? Pictures to come in a little.
