I mean, depending on the plant, a constant 5.8 ph works well, but imo letting it run the range makes MORE nutrients available because some don't really come into play much until a lil higher in the ph range.

Thats funny and i find 6.2 is the sweet spot but my temps are 62f in water so that may play a role for phosphorus uptake i dunno as it drifts below 5.5 then over night i can have issues of nutrient uprake so if i keep it 5.5-6.5 it always grows no issues between there as nutes are used up my ph drops so its like my hey time to change water or add higher ph’d nute mix. No need for ec or ppm pen.
