First time harvest tips, how do they look? :o

First harvest for me is coming up and I am excited :joint::joint::joint::joint:

:weed:

Here are the specs so far:

12/12 started 3/12/2013
so about 4 weeks so far
unknown genetics but looks dank :)

Here is what I need help with:

How is she looking? I am thinking she is a sativa, my other girl is a bushy ass indica (not pictured) but the pistils on her are mostly all still white. My other plants hairs (pictured) are all turning yellowish/redish and wanna know what you guys think.

I know it's only been around 4 weeks so far but how much longer do you guys think and will it fatten up a bit? Have been cutting way back on the nutes, been w-w-w-w-f-w-w-w-w etc probably going to leave at pure water for now until harvest (need input)

Been looking through my pocket microscope at trichomes, having a hard time seeing them so far but I am trying to aim for 70-80% cloudy etc
Here are the pics:

lemme know what you guys think

They're hard to see because they haven't fully formed yet.
8wk. to 60 days flowering before chop, if it's mostly sativa maybe longer.

Why are you only aiming for 70/80% cloudy. Got long time left which won't help cutting back the nutes. Why you cut back the nutes?

Trichomes are a only a good indicator if you know how to judge maturity based on other, more obvious signs.

I wouldnt even be checking trichomes until most of the pistils have turned AND receded, the calyxes had swelled to their maximum, the leaves began change in color and texture, the plant wasn't taking as much water, and overall growth has seemed to stop or slow greatly.

If you cant tell swollen calyxes, youre not going to be able to judge an arbitrary system of vague color tints on microscopic glands.

it would be easier to give an estimate if the picture was taken without the HPS on. A lot of the visual cues have to do with colour
