First time growing

Well I'm pretty sure mine won't get 8 ft across if I keep them in the 3 gallon buckets I have them in. If I keep them in the same containers should I be worried about them getting root bound and will that kill them. I don't to put them in the ground because when it' a very wet area.
Get yourself a bigger pot.. i have 7 girls in 5gal pot in my 4x4.. less girls would have been better lol but regardless I just feel 5gal is pretty full of roots at this point (im about 1 week to harvest too) so ill probably get bigger pot for next time.. but especially in your case that youre growing outdoor with the potential of getting big size plant id aim for a much bigger pot your yield will just thank you if you do..

I'm thinking about making a big mound of dirt 2 or 3 foot tall on the ground and putting them in that but idk it' going to take a lot of dirt and I don't know if that will be enoghtbto keep them from getting to wet when it rains. If not I'm going to put them in 55 gallon barrels cut in half.

If its a plastic barrels drill holes on the side it will become an airpot and less prone to excess of water

Do you think doing that will be enouh to keep it dry enough to take a few days of hard rains. It's support to rain a lot next week. I won't have them in the barrels by then but was thinking of doing that to the small pots i have them in now because there's no place I can take them in doors. I have 4 holes one the bottom of each bucket now.

Yes definitively will help and will help your roots too by bringing air to your soil 100% recommend.. if you can get them somewhere where there is some airflow (obviously not too windy but just a little breeze) and yes it should dry good

The weather got pretty bad here yesterday but it looks like they handled it good. I sat them under the table that I keep them on so they wouldn't get so wet. When I came out today though to check on them I found 2 little slugs on my plants. I guess keeping them on top of the table does help with insects. Can I use this on them for the insects I want to get rid of them before it becomes a problem.20180514_090216.jpg

And here' how they are looking today20180514_084522.jpg 20180514_084540.jpg 20180514_084554.jpg 20180514_084600.jpg 20180514_084612.jpg

You might want to check that over in the outdoor section.

Hey it' been awhile since I wrote anything on here. This is because it' been raining everyday for about 2 weeks now. All the plants are doing ok I been putting them under a tent when it rains and been putting them in the sun when it stops so they can get as much sun as possible. Idk why but the lower leaves on my plants keep drying up. They get really yellow and crispy where they just crumble apart when I pull them off. I think it might be a lack of water because I ain' watered in about a week because they got soaked one day I left them out and I left for the day when I got back it was storming. So I guess the only reason I posted this was to see what y'll think is the problem before I try to do anything to corrct what I'm doing. Any suggestions?

Hard to say, food and drought conditions perhaps.

I went out this morning and saw a grass hopper on my big plant. I was wondering if any one has any home remedies they would share for insecticides. I started a new thread in the out door section called home remedies because I looked around are could find anything about this. I just think it would be better to talk about it there than here. Thanks for everyone's help so far.
