First time growing

Okay this is a first timer speaking and I have a strange little node that seems to have a very fine hair coming out of it. I am still in veg state and have not gone to 12/12. The camera is not great so i hope you all can see and maybe some can tell me if this is a hermi or a female.

I am going to go to 12/12 in about one more week or atleast that is the plan. There is a faint circle around the area in question. Thanks in advance for your response

No sign of sex from what i can see on thatpick dude, your best bet is to just wait till you have it in 12/12 and you'll def be able to sex it, fingures crossed for female,
One method you could do if you wanted to would be to take a clone from it just now and put your clone into 12/12 and what ever sex that clone turns out to be that is what the mother plant is....
I myself jut wait....

12/12 is when you switch your lighting cycle down to 12 on 12 off to promote flowering.

when do you switch to 12/12??? because iv just started to grow my own and hoping that it all goes well but all of this is new to me, iv just planted m y seeds today i have a self watering system in my shed and so far i am happy with it but any help and advice would help thanks

Many ideas on when to switch to 12/12 space is a consideration I recommend going to growFAQ and seeing what works best for you

I go for a 14/10 light cycle thats 14 on 10 off/But i have 2 that R 3 and a half weeks along andgoin nice,I do some thing a little less conventional and and letem go outside for the first 6 hrs then bringem in for the last 8 mostly cuzz of the days being shorter here in fl and the sunlight is a bit of a problem after 6 hrs for where i live,but they are vegeing out nicely.

She is 14 inches tall now and about 6 weeks old. I just bought a hps today for her LOL.
here is another pic of this plant, many little preflowers all over this little lady(I think). Just wondering what your take on this pic is (same plant as the one reeny posted)

I cant quite tell, they look like they will be female,but i cant realy make it out,i didnt see the ball and stick..which= dead giveaway for male,They are lookin good though not bad at all.My plants are at the same phase right now at 4 weeks , they are growin fast, still cant tell yet on sex,but am very optimistic.I keep myne on a 14/10 light cycle for vegetation.I am going to try for hps lights for them but gots to get money 1st.But nice grow so far jake.:blsmoke:

Looking good man........I am in a similar situation. Just put 16 plants outside for the 12/12 flower and sexing process coming up. This is my second grow here in Hawaii. They have vegged for 6 weeks under a
400 Mh for 23/1.Putting together a thread today in {outdoor growing}

My last grow had 1 female and 6 males....lets do better this time.:mrgreen:

2 outta the 3 are males for sure, killed them today.......lol
the one is looking like a lady but i dont really know this being my first grow

either way I got them well into flowering so im confident I can get some big boy seeds now :^P
this was a trail run.
I got 8 in my nursery, 5 broke ground already. no more fuckin around lol

Thats good man sometimes ya gotta plant plenty of the lil bastards to get what ya need for the grow.
