First time grower

Well Im new to this whole growing subject, but I have been doing my research to see what kind of work this willl take to accomplish. But there are a few things that I havent been able to conclude about.

The first thing that I need help with is location. I got the secretive shit down but I need to know if this area is suitbale for growing. The area is very lush in greens. I found a few spots where it is preety abundant in healthy plants but I need to know if the amount of light will be enough. If you look up in the sky its not just a full pane of the sky but is slightyl blocked by a few trees, so is it good if a few trees block the sun and recieve decent amounts, or do I need a full view of the sun. I live in southern florida so I really have sun 24/7 lol

The second thing is the soil. In the area there is a layer of frehsly fallen leaves which i am sure are good for nutrients but that is not the problem. The soil underneath has a a few very small root systems but is easy to make room through. The soil isnt super damp but is slighty dry and is somewhat like sand. With to much water it can be very muddy like but it is also soft when damp and still flexible. Water isnt a problem if the water needs to be damp, I usually will just ride my bike to the spot witha full water bottle and pour it around, and if I neeed more a water fountain isnt more than 200 feet away from it.

So my idea is to get the seedling to start out in a planters pot, remaining there to maybe to about 2 -3 weeks, and then transfer to the spot i have selected and maybe mix the soil with some gardening soil.

sounds good. u want at least 6 hours of light perferbly more. dont plant ur girls in the ground. bring large pots and plant them in there and keep them there. it would be better off then mixing it. keep them in pots with store bought soil . make sure the water ur using is between 6.0-7.0 ph. or use bottled water. u want as much light as u can get so find the best site. dont worry about being seen from cops unless ur growing more then like 20 plants

Well what if I were to dig a big hole and fill it full of the store bought soil? Would that still be an efficient thing to grow it in. Yea cops arnt my concern my spots onl like 50 feet from a trail

You got the right idea, you can also bury a pot in the ground.

Would I need to make any kind of filtration system so the water wouldnt all stay in the pot, or will it evaporate on its own at a good speed?

You should have soil that drains very well, with plenty of drainage holes at the bottom, lots of perlite in your soil helps drainage alot.

if you got directly in the earth, with no pot, there is much soil there everywhere to abosrb whatever water comes... otherwise our forests would die.

So Ive decided to try and germinate them first before I plant them. Ive also mad a planters pot with draingae holes in it. As the plant grows bigger Ill move up on the bucket size, its kinda weird transporting a huge bucket with my bike into the woods so yea lol. Ive also found a decent spot ide say it should recive About 7 hours of drivect sunlight, and a couple more hours of sunlight but are filtered slighty by the trees.
