First time grower situation

Need some advice

Started my plants indoors and intended to move them outside after 3 weeks. I realized AFTER I planted the seeds that I'm only going to be getting 13 1/2 hours of sun when it's time to move them outside. It's going to be another 2 weeks until 14hrs of sun. Worried about them flowering early.

Right now I have them under a workshop florescent light at 18/6. So should I keep them on the same schedule for an extra 2 weeks or should I put them outside and bring them in during the evening and put them back under the light.

Thanks

3 week old seeds are not going to flower when you put them out in the springtime. Put them out asap.
Pardon? They certainly will if you put them out now. There's not enough hours of sunlight to keep them in vegetative state right now.

No way. Seeds are not clones. They are genetically programmed to sprout in the spring when the days are short.

That's true, but you were talking about bringing three week old vegging plants outside. Unless you veg for those three weeks at a lesser than normal veg light cycle, they will flower if you put them out early.

Hey man it's cool I get the idea, It's just not what Ive observed. 3 weeks old! These are extremely small. They will not start flowing even if you kept them 24 hours for their entire 3 weeks and then change the routine to outdoors. In my situation I put sprouts out in the morning bringing them in at dark every night to save them from bugs. Just set them on a table no more 24 hour light. This is my successful method. After they get too big for a beer cup they can stay out all night. Ive done this more that a couple times. I used to grow indoors also and would strat seeds in Feb on 24 hours and throw em into the outdoor schedule in late March not problem ever. Only clones have I had issues transitioning.
