First time grower, please help!

First hi all i'm new here in RollitUp,
so i've got my 5 ww seeds in jiffys for about 55h, without lights (should i have it on??) with the temperature constantly as 19ºC and humidity as 75%. I've got a closet with 1 250W hps and 2 CFL 100W each.

NOTHING has happened yet and i'm starting to get paranoid, should i be worried? the guy from my growstore told me to put the seeds directly into the jiffys without putting them into water first..

Please help!!!

If they dont pop try germinating them next time. Ide turn the light on.

I don't want to sound like a downer, but you need to first have a basic knowledge of growing before you attempt it or you're just wasting your and our time..

Light is not needed until they pop the surface.....

thanks , iv'e turned my lights on and as for the research part i have passed the last 2 months reading the jorge cervantes bible, all about growing but i guess doin it is different but i will learn from my mistakes.. thanks for the info

It will probably take a lil over a week before they pop out

dont worry too much bud,ive had seeds take10 or more days to pop thru!now i pop them in a shot glass overnite in the dark(&usually if the seeds sink by morning its a good sign they will be likely to sprout!!)happy growing......buzn

so, 1st thanks for the input! now, after a little less than a week 3 of my babies have sprouted! i had them in plastic cups with plastic on top to mantain humidity..
1st question - should i remove the plastic now?
2nd - i know my hps is to far away but it needs to be next to the output fans because of the fuckin heat

does it affect that much a few inches??

i've been sprinkling water once per day, should i continue sprinkling?

First time grower, please help!
