We're almost on the exact same regimen. Except I'm only using 1tsp of Tiger Bloom, and 1/2Tbl more molasses. My runoff is at 6.3. It's nice having someone with near the same exact set-up. I am anxious to see some results from both. Next update I'll add a couple nug shots from last round (8 months ago). I have some Blue Dream and a Bubba Kush cross left still. Lol I will be cutting it close with this next harvest. I think a trip to the dispensary before then might be necessary.

Cant wait to see what all of our different strains yield.I have feeling yours are going to be bigger because of strain and me being a noob.LoL

Fun watching them grow.

My wife and I were stoned and bored the other day.So we decided to make
something to quiet our exhaust fan.My tent is located in a bedroom so the
noise does get annoying.I looked up the online store mufflers/silencers and
didn't feel like spending $60 -$150 on any of them.Thought about going to
the local Lowes and picking up the metal parts to make one. Then we ripped
a few more Bongz and decided to stay home and make one out of things
around the Apt.We ended up using a Cardboard box,Towel,Fabric softener
sheets,15" of Ducting,Duct clamp,Packing tape(clear) and a lot of Duct tape.

I cut a round hole at one end of box to attach the ducting.

Cut 4 square holes in to the top of the box for venting. I attached 3
Fabric softeners to the inside of the holes with packing tape.

1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg

Lined the box with bubble wrap I had lying around.(would have used foam
if I had it) Taping it to the insides of the box with packing tape.Thought
maybe this would dampen some noise.
Threw about 20 Fabric softener sheets in to the box.

6.jpg7.jpg

Took a hand towel and wrapped it around the cheap ducting I was using
and duct taped it to the ducting.(If I had insulated duct I would have used
that)

8.jpg9.jpg

Clamped it to my fan...and it seems to be at least 80% quieter.
Plus the room smells like fresh laundry.
The air is blown into the box where it vents out the holes through the fabric
softeners. Its been working great since we installed it.Plus its stealth....Everyone thinks its a clothes closet with boxes on top.(When the light and fans are off)

10.jpg11.jpg

I know this has probably been done before and better. But I thought I'd share what we made on a boring afternoon.

As you can tell I am an EAGLES fan.

i love checking out your journal man. We basically have the same set-up. Its pretty cool comparing my DWC BB to your soil BB. Just my two cents on your build. Instead of using fabric softeners, wouldn't it be better to cover it with carbon filter pads. They are the ones that air filters use to clean the air. A buddy of mine has a similar diy, the only differences is that he added the carbon filter pads and 3 small PC fans to help with exhaust. It works miracles man. Barely any noise from his grow room and purified air. What more do you need? lol. But keep up the good work man. Your plants look great

yea,its going to be Kool comparing the 2 different grow styles with the same strain.
I have a carbon filter on the inside of my tent which works well.We made the box more as a silencer then for odor. The carbon filter pads would definitely be better, but we wanted to make something with household items laying around. And its been working great...

Thought I'd post a few Bud pix taken yesterday.

4 sounds right so long as its not a bushy phenotype. I have 1 blue cheese going now that's so busy it would fill that tent, lol.
Try not to trim to much so that they grow taller rather then bushy. I would not seal off the room completely like stillblack suggested unless you have C02 for fresh air and a way to keep the room cool (A/C). I have my carbon filter and a vortex fan in the grow room attached to start of the ducting at light #1 and ran through the grow lights and a vortex at the end of the row, basically one sucking in, and one blowing out though they both do the same theoretically with out A/C. so long as the air is moving the lights will stay cooler and should be fine. but like robside said, trust your instinct and never over fertilize, its better to be under fertilize then over do it. But research and trial and error is probably going to be your best best

Thanx for stopping by. I'm currently growing 4 in my tent now. I don't trim any leaves unless they are 70% dead and falling off themselves.
Not using a CO2. I leave my passive intake for incoming air. Leaving them open all the time. I did have to add an AC to the room that the tent is located in to control temps. Everything seems to be going well.

Thanx for the + rep and the compliment. Come by and visit any time.

Very innovative Low. I always come up with the coolest things when I'm stoned and bored too :D. I actually put together a new water res yesterday for the hell of it and posted it up on my thread. Not very exciting, but something to learn none-the-less.

How tall is the one Bubblelicious that was vegged for 10 days less? I'm thinking about veg my plants for 25 days. Is there a noticeable difference as far as buds?

The Bubblelicous I vegged for 35 days looks like it has more bud sites.Or maybe they're just more mature and noticeable. Can't wait to see what the difference in dry yield is going to be between the 35 day veg and 25 day veg plantz.

Here are their height measurements.

Before 12/12 cycle:

Bubblelicous1 - 11" (35days veg)
Bubblelicous2 - 11" (35days veg)
Baby Bubblelicous -7 1/2" (25days veg)
Master Kush - 11" (35days veg)

22 days into flowering:

Bubblelicous1 - 28 1/2" (Supercropped main stem)
Bubblelicous2 - 27"
Baby Bubblelicous - 32" (25days veg)
Master Kush - 27 1/2"

The 25 day vegged plant is taller then the rest now..LoL
If their dry yields are similar,I will only veg them for 25 days in the future.
Hope that helps....

huh, I'm not sure what to do with mine. My box is 3ft tall, I have 2ft of grow space. I guess I'll have to supercrop them when they become a issue. Thanks for the info. Crazy how the one that vegged the shortest is now the tallest. They are 3" tall right now. 16 days in.
