First time grower, nothing serious. Just sharing my experience as a beginner.

Hey guys,

Currently I guess my only doubt is that, I could be wrong about my decision to cut manually feeding the Rockwool cube on Khole (larger plant.)
For the last couple of days, or week. I've been manually using 20ml to spray the cube and the pellets around the plant.
Now that the roots are officially in the water I feel like it safe to stop.
Part of my paranoia came from almost killing Margaret (smaller plant). Which was planted at the same time.
I accidentally didn't feed them quick enough, and the heat dried out a cube during early seedling stage.

I've spent the last week keeping an eye on them, down to putting a raspberry pi together to just watch them.
The tent was diy.
The light is SF-2000 currently running about 40%, as the reflectix material I used, is doing amazing.
I'll attach some pictures to help tell the story.

Just about when i got fed up of having to into the room over and over.
I had Raspberry pi laying around, and a camera module.
A little IP reserving on the Gateway switch, so the ip was persistent over wifi.
And just kept the script to fire it up over ssh.

Last update for the post.
Currently the plants are sitting on 7gal of ph balanced water between 5.9 - 6.0.
The plants are Gorilla Glue
Vendor ILGM <- amazing customer service so far.
In the water is only 3ml of RapidStart Root Enhancer.
Wanted to assist the roots, before it was time to put them into feeding mode with actual nutrients.
Roots started to develop on Khole can't wait to see what happens with Margaret.

I've done some grows almost identical to yours that worked out really well, since your taking far more care then I did I'm sure you will have great success. It truly is a weed and just wants to grow big so don't spend too much time over thinking it...happy growing!!

You don't even know the amount of joy it bring me to hear people say that during the progression of this plant.
It gives me a piece of mind to know I'm heading in the right direction on becoming an apprentice grower.

I was actually going through my notes right now, planning if this Monday I start add nutrients to Khole. As she's so much further a head of Margaret with roots in the water. Yesterday was her first official day without me manually watering the cube, and I checked the roots today and I was like "JESUS!!!!!!!". A bunch of roots showed up like ninjas!! I'm gonna be taking the pics today for documentation, should be posting them here in the next few hours. Gonna try and get them roots shoots.

Thank you again for the feed back, appreciate it!

Love the shower stall grow!
I've been raised growing gardens my whole life, I appreciate how stoked you must be to grow THE plant as your first. Very cool.

Heck yeah!
I moved into this home, and had an extra bathroom in my office.
I'm like hmm.... lol. 15 bowls, and 26 youtube videos, and a visit to homedepo and I got going lol.

The dude at homedepo helping me had no understanding why I was buying the amounts I was getting for the pvc parts.
Wifey is like isn't that too much, and I'm like batman beyond like..... "If we buy in quantity they won't suspect, on the other hand we'll have spare parts" lol.

I'm not gonna lie I be running down the stairs in the morning to see what's new with them.

I wanted to get a quick chance to post the update on the girls, and wish everyone a happy new years!
Roots are growing up the wazzooo omg! Khole is not playing.
Margaret on some 300 FOR SPARTA!!!!!! COMING BACK!!!

Well I was just advised not to even dare attempting to top Khole, as i've apparently miss the deadline.
That sucks. and I fear to much trying to top Margaret after what she's been through.
Gonna grab some kite rope, and get figuring out how to at bare minimal LST the girls.

Hey,

Just a quick updated.
Started lst on Khole, and I also noticed that Margaret has a few roots in the water.
so I'm gonna get brave and stop feeding Margaret manually after today, and see if the roots take off.

Hey,

I could use some advise. As of a few hours ago I finally switched Khole to nutrient based water.
In the process I guess i didn't noticed that I some how added more water than I did before.

Now I'm not sure if this is what's happening, but based on the pictures and some of the information I found online.
I could have overwatered the roots.

As of 35mins ago, I removed enough water that it's now barely covering the first square of the netpod on the bottom.
I also increase the air pump to 100% from 95.

I added some before and after picture after a few hours of drowning, by a few I mean 2 hrs tops as I was monitoring the camera as it was happening.
Just want to confirm the removal of the water is enough to help me save her, or should I remove more water.
I'm also adding pictures of the roots, and Margaret.

Status update on the girls.
These are from yesterday.
In a few I should be posting today's.

Khole making that come back.
Learning real quick the slight yellowing in the leafs of Margaret.
I have started Margaret on nutrients yet.
Gonna see about getting her going this Monday to maintain at least the same day for when I'm changing the water.
