First Time Grower - Looking for an all around 'easy to use' 'pre made' COB or LED to use in 2x4 tent

First time grower here, looking for some advice on lighting for a small 2x4 grow tent.

Important to me:
-Not Too Expensive - less than 600.
-Electric cost down
-Low Heat
-Easy to use for a beginner - Single light for VEG/Flower - (I have T5 for clones)

I've researched many different lighting setups for this size space. I'm seeing a lot of options, which leaves me a bit confused on how to pick one that is right for me. I've seen a lot of COB talk also, which has lead me to look into purchasing one. I don't have the time to DIY atm.

These two threads look very promising, these are the type of results that I'd like to achieve for my first time, about this same scale.

usually the cooler (higher) numbers are for vegetative growth and the lower, warmer numbers are for flowering, as the lower numbers have more red wavelength and the higher numbers have more blue wavelength

@WeEd-Wacker - When you mentioned buying two of these lights - Did you mean to buy two separate spectrum choices for the different cycles, or buying the same version, and running them side by side?
What wave lengths are right for me?

Make sure you get genetics that grow short.

That model (t2-1750) seems to be sold out.

These seem pretty similar, there are some in stock.

Or maybe I could go for one of these, a bit above my budget, but it might be more efficient for me. I also like the idea of upgrading to a 4x4 down the line.

The T2-2100's or T4-2100's would be fine, they run a little less efficient (slightly more heat but still manageable). You can send them an email to see what the ETA is, I waited a couple of weeks for mine. These are nice in that you can add as needed or you have the cash.

Northerngrowlights has the 180CXB's on sale, 2 of those would cover the area well. With either if you go 3500 or 4000k you'd be fine through veg and flowering.

Hey Gerber. I'm not a "Grow Light Guru" or anything, and I only had this light for 2 months, but check this out...

Like you, I didn't want to break the bank. Rolled the dice on this light and the plants are loving me for it. I still plan on using T-5s for veg, but since this light is dimmable I'm sure you could use it for the whole grow. I can't say how long the light will last, but I figure if there's a chance it will fill my 3 x 3 tent with frosty buds for $200, why not give it a shot? So far so good.

In a 2 x 4 I'd guess you could get away with one of these for veg, but you'd need two for flower. Still leaves you a couple hundred under budget.

I'm new to growing as well. I decided to go with the mars hydro reflector series. I have 2 of the 96 5 watt reflectors in a 3x3 tent and I can't complain. For your tent the reflector 144 would be a good choice at a decent price $260. plus a 2 yr warranty. I know there a lot of grow lights in the budget prices so doing a little homework will go along way. When I feel I have a good grasp on growing, I'll invest more on better lights...my.02

Thanks for the replies guys. I've been doing a lot of research on all of the links provided. I really like all of the options, and its great to see the new pre wired kits from timbergrowlights.

I originally asked about a 2x4 space, but I was just given a 4x4 and 2 older LED lights to use. I've currently got it all set up with - 4 clones in 3 gal coco/perlite mix

I've been reading up on these lights a bit, but I don't really know what I've got here just yet. I've seen some videos where people have had good results with the 450, sometimes with additional lights added. I can't find any videos on the HHE 300 and I'm not sure if it is the same/similar to the galaxyhydro 300, the descriptions are very similar.

I'm not sure how or if I should be using these 2 LEDs together. I only have the platinum 450 on in veg mode atm.

I'm still interested in adding lights or changing lights over time to make the best setup for me. I'm a first time grower, and I know that growing and knowing what to do is the most important. I'm not expecting a good yield for free! BUT, I'd like to do everything possible to set myself up to be successful.

If anyone has info/opinions on how to use these, or how to add to my package to make it better, I'd love to hear it and learn more.

I plan on trying a 4 pot scrog in a 4x4
