This is white widow in week 7 of flower. I've been using the Fox Farms Nutrient set I'm not sure why they aren't growing but its like they just stopped. This is my first grow so obviously my only knowledge is what I've read on the internet so far. In the one picture the branch went sideways, not sure why haha. They started in a much smaller tent until I realized it was cutting off all light and airflow to the bottom canopy. Which was maybe week 1-2 of flower. Since I have a much bigger tent now I'm am using both lights currently. Any real knowledge is very welcome. Thanks in advance!

First light and tent set up w/ 300 watt 24" x 24" option.

Second light with a bigger tent.

My first suggestion would be they need more light. I am not an led guy so I can’t give any direction on what you currently running or what to upgrade to in the led realm. I can say if I had a hps in that space I would be looking for at least an lb of tops.

They look real happy for your first grow. Not sure anything's wrong from what you wrote. Maybe your just expecting veg mass to grow like it did in veg and stretch? By week 7 of flower a lot less happens visually day by day. I find they kind of grow in waves in flower, it'll seem like she's barely doing anything as round of bud growth matures and swells out, then if she's not done overnight you'll get a new wave of a bunch of white pistols, buds visually grow faster for a bit and then those slow down, mature and swell out, the cycle repeats a couple times.

You have around 220 total watts with both lights combined. Is that a 4x4 tent? If so your about 600w short of where should be with blurple. Also are your buds full of seeds? I can see some possible signs of seeded buds. If there seeded that is why there not getting any bigger also. The very bottom picture there is a spot that has some yellow on tip of a bud like hermi flowers possibly?

I'm going to have to agree with not enough light. Proper lighting, heat control, and proper watering is probably the three main factors to grow consistently large buds. Without those three things being optimal, you just have to settle for what you get.

I like your plants.
They look great for a 1st grow.
Keep doing what your doing to keep them healthy and you will be rewarded with quality buds.
A stronger light would get you a larger yield but a 1st grow should be about keeping the plant healthy and you are doing a great job.
Pics with natural light are preferred over purple pics.

I wonder if by not growing it simply reached the end of the stretch and sometimes after the stretch ends they seem to slow down before fattening up.

I cannot stress this enough- we all love saving money but lights are the LAST thing you wanna cheap out on. Look into Advanced Platinum LED or Kind LED, QB's are becoming more and more popular but ive yet to see one with UV/IR diodes so im sticking to my APL's, I run 600w over 4 plants in a 2x2 area, 150w over 4-6 bonsai moms in a 2x1 area, and a 150w dimmed about 50% with a variac voltage controller for clones/seeds in a 2x1 area. If i was you id get two of the P600 models for that 4x4 space.

side note- if you chose to buy APL look out for knock offs, theyre the #1 copied pre-built LED out there, you can purchase them on amazon directly from the APL seller. i occasionally check ebay for deals on pre-owned ones but you will see alot of people say things like "its from the same company that makes APL just without the APL engraving" its a scam- if it doesnt have the APL engraving then its not APL. also check the shipping location, APL is made in the USA, so if the listing ships from anywhere outside the USA then its not APL.

No. Don't buy blurples off Amazon. You want newer technology like HLG quantums or strips or cobs from timber.

Couldn't the same be said about you claiming your uv/ir based old tech ap lights are better than the the leading LED companies currently?

Advanced platinum are overpriced and under preform compared to any of the top dawgs on the block, ask around, there's a reason they are never ever suggested to anyone looking to get into the led game.

I'm sure they grow bud just fine, but they are expensive and there's much better available

People who overpaid for their lights need to constantly try to convince themselves they didn't get conned. Just let them talk to themselves, that's really who it's for, you'll never convince them, they don't want to believe.

Well i never claimed they were better than the "top dawgs", almost the opposite actually- i said ive been looking for a quantum board but havent seen any with uv/ir diodes which are a must have for me so for now im sticking with the APLs.. but w/e you keep being a narcissistic douche dude, hope that works out for ya.

Hi, I started with HID, switched & bought a few LEDs. My plants suffered root rot and other problems, Light burn, bleached leaves etc. I’m back to HID. DE. I agree with Nurrgle, easy lb with HID. I had trouble reproducing the same yields with LED and maintaining consistency with the plants . I understand that a few guys on this site are building their own LED Fixtures and they are having comparable yields, maybe they can assist you. I found that HID reduces a few variables with disease, drying the roots, the evaporation adds humidity etc.

Not enough light my friend!! You don’t look at the eye catching 300w and 600w “led wattage”. You need to go by the actual wattage. The 300w says it’s actually 120w and the 600w doesn’t say which probably isn’t a good thing that they’re hiding that kind of info.. I’d guess 150watts.. I have 300w in a 3x3 and that’s in the low side... imo you want at least 30watts per sq foot. They look healthy though :weed:
