First time grower ☘️ is it really necessary to do LST ?

By all means, start a grow and learn something, but growing in a window with supplemental lighting is not ideal, to put it mildly.
I've seen some pretty impressive window grows on YouTube so far.

Time will tell.

When I get a bigger apartment with a dedicated closet because I don't actually have a closet in here I'll probably end up using that as a grow place or I could buy a tent.

But those are future plans. ☮

If you got lights powerful enough, why even fuck with the window? Sounds like a giant waste of time. Just get a space and use the artificial lights. Pretty simple.

As far as LST and topping and supercropping, I’d say try it all. Experiment and learn. It’s fastest way to figure out what works best for you. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
BECAUSE it's the only grow storage space I have, Plus BECAUSE I want to.

Is it autos? I’ve heard of auto window grows, but if it’s photoperiods I think you are gonna have tough time in the yield/chunky department. Might get a lot of airy whispy buds, but again better than no buds.

I ain’t trying to hate, just not sure your gonna get the results your seeking/thinking.

That's interesting so if I want a really tall plant versus a wide plant then I should just leave it alone?

Because I have a lot more height to work with than width In my windowsil.

At the same time I do want to have more bud sites.

I want my window to be basically filled up with trees and branches and hopefully it will reach the top.

I have about 6 ft of total height that I can use including the three gallon pot from the base of the top of the pot.

And my width total inches across for all three of my plants is going to be about 38 in

I'm growing in 3 gallon pots
Any indoor growing is going to require some training.

Any time you are growing indoors, your plants are not going to get the same light as they would outdoors. So you have to manage your plants accordingly.

Bucsfan80 - you gotta show me what's in the box now. Never seen that before. Hell yeah on that lollipop job.

It's certainly possible to get a healthy plant to the finish line in a window but much less likely.

Temper your expectations and apply what you learn to your future grows.

On the other hand, if you saw it on YouTube...
