First time Grower an wit CFL's too!

hi, i've done some more research and discovered that the plants have a powerdy midldew. I've read about using baking powder mixed with water (1ts per gallon) and thought I would try that. but after forgetting many times to actually BUY some I discovered a few articles about using milk. Yeah, milk.... sounds strange doesn't it!
Suposidly you spray it on and it kills the mildew (aparently skimmed is best as it wont smell so much due to lower fat content)
I assume you only leave it on there for a short while then spray with water? I think i'll just try to remember baking powder but it's tempting when there's milk in the fridge.....

i went for the baking powder one in the end. although the top bud (cola?) just died and fell off! also the tops are not generally looking that healthy, slightly curled leaves, even smaller buds, could they be needing ALOT of water now? i've been watering each till it drips out the bottom a little (about 250ml per watering every 2/3 days) couls really use some help on this as i;m stuck.
i'll up-lad some photos ina few hours if that'll help.

The leaves nearer the tops of the plant were also very dry to the touch, so i sprayed the whole plant, and watered both well.
hopefully tomorrow they'll perk up a bit!!!:joint:

Hi all,
Began my first harvest yesterday as many of the buds seemed ready (and god dam sticky too!!:weed:)
Cut one plant completly and too the top half of the other as the buds were less developed.
Dont think there's too much on them both, but it's nice to know that with 2 energy saving light bulbs, a small fan and just water (only used nutes twice) you can get just over an ounce of (wet) bud in 2 1/2 months.

Anyway it's a good learning experience and i'm looking forward to actually planning my next grow (the grow box needs better light proofing)
Oh, i'll definatly be using more bulbs next time too, see how much the yeild increases.

I've recently got hold of an old PC base unit that im planning on using to start a grow from some seed (should be pretty stealthy too!!)

I'll post some pics up soon of the drying buds (they are in the dark suspended by cotton thread)

Thanks for the help everyone, i'll blaze one up in all ya'l glory!!!:joint::hump:
