First time-grower, a little experiment

well for the most part theyre a pretty reliable source

ok heres my tallest plant, the other 3 are kind of straggling but they seem to be catching up fast enough, you can't really tell from this angle but it is about 2 inches tall. This is about the 4th day in.



ps. im not using bark as a soil, thats just the mulch

i once read some place that some people add cat piss to soil to help in the nitrogen cycle. someone look up cat piss in the cannabible and see if it says anything. sounds like it would work

I agree...

Wikipedia is the "encyclopedia that anyone can edit" it says so right on the home page. So if one person is misinformed then anyone who relies on that source is also misinformed. Wikipedia talks about Urine like its the same thing as Urea when there is an obvious difference, and that can be very misleading to someone.

but that seedling looks really good.

I wouldnt recommend mulch on the medium, it may cause the medium to retain too much moisture, but so far it looks like it doesnt have an affect on the plant. Mulch wont provide any benefit to the plant, it may look pretty but it may do more harm than good...just thought Id give u a lil heads up.

ok thanks for the heads up on the mulch, i have noticed that the soil constantly stays real moist ever since I put it in the cup, i guess ill remove it

annnd the other two straggling seedlings have pretty much died, i think i put too much stress on them by trying to get them to grow when i would mess around with them. Also, one of them got eaten by eats before it could even start growing so that messed with it too. However, the other two plants are doing really well, pics in a little when i feel like updating
