I got clones for my very first time potted them in foxfarm ocean forest an watered them, its gloomy outside and i think maybe the soil is staying to soaked? Arrived yesterday this is day 2 appreciate all tips

honestly im new but it can be 1 of 2 things either they were not rooted properly and the clones do not have roots which i dont think is the case or B they are over watered which i think is what is wrong here im not sure though im burly on my first grow so maybe someone else can chime in
how much times have you watered them since you got them?

did you harden it off for outdoor before putting it outdoor?

i put them in the shade and leftem alone they are getting better much perkier

I see a few issues here potentially:
Not hardening off your clones properly.
Is that pm on the leaves I see?
How much water did you add?
A pot that size drenched could be too much water. Is there drainage on the bottom?
A heated mat underneath can help dry back faster.
FFOF is considered a “hot” soil and more suitable for established vegging plants.

I use mills an follow a feed chart i do water here and there and i only add when dirt is dry, i put them in shade and left them alone they are perking up im assuming the color and leaves look that way because of me leaving them be for a week, i just started to water and add nutrients today day 7 ( i potted them and added little water when i took that picture)

Not sure what most of what you said lol I’m very new to growing these are my first clones this photo was from a week ago, what is hardening? Not sure what pm on leaves are, the pots all have holes for drainage this is what they look like now

They just hadn't rooted yet, looks like they both pulled through.
Not all clones root succesfully, which looks exactly like your pictures in the first post. Honestly I'm surprised they survived, my own clones have either not wilted at all, or wilted and died. Never seen them come back like that, but I don't have a ton of experience so it could be that.

I got 6 they all did the same thing to an extent, i think its caused by me re plotting and watering right away im assuming they went into shock and needed to root and be left alone to acclimate, i put them in a shady spot when they kinda dried and perked up a little i pruned some dying leafs i read it helps save plants energy it certain settings but also bad cause it can cause stress but i took the chance

When you first root clones and plant them in soil or coco it’s best to put them in a shaded area for a day or 2 before giving them light or they will wilt really quick. I put mine under a shelf to hide them from the light for 2 days then pull them out and they don’t wilt at all. I thought It was from the high humidity they were in while cloning but it’s the light and not the humidity
