First time grow

Hi guys, so i started this grow about 2 weeks ago now from germination, its a kandy kush regular seed so im yet to find out if its male or female but fingers crossed.

This is my first time grow so i guess im a noobie, so i could do with any advice or reassurance


im using about 4500 lumens = 300w
growing the single plant
space is not a issue
anything to maximize the yield
im not planning to use any nutriants

i dont mind staying on 24-0 for another 2-3 weeks, i really just want to find out the sex of the plant before i put so much time into it aha :\

Looking good man! Nice to see another Kandy Kush grower :) Good call on the FIM, I did a bunch of reading on the strain before planting and it can be a stretchy leggy bitch and turn into a 6 foot monster if you're not careful. FIMMING along with LST will help you keep things short while improving the yield.

My Kandy Kush is almost 6 weeks into flower and smells DELICIOUS! I don't have any experience growing Kush varieties, but this plant has started to reek of sweet coffee, and is really starting to stack up some nice buds. I topped mine a couple of times and you can see how it exploded with growth......thing would likely be touching the ceiling if I let it grow au natural.

Also, OG Kush varieties and crosses tend to be super slow in veg, mine was no different. Your yield will really benefit from an extra couple of weeks of veg, I let mine go for almost 7 weeks and it didn't show sex and throw pre-flowers till the end of week 6 of veg, a couple of weeks after all of my other plants.

Thanks bro, really appreciate the replys, and yeah its good to see some kandy kush grows. Dosent seem to be as many kk grows as i would of expected.

it turns out i actually missed the F.I.M which is abit ironic haha. so ive decided to just top for now.

Nice grow man plants looking beaut,

i really don't mind veging for a good 7 weeks, its just as there just regular seeds i couldn't bare spending all the time and effort for a bunch of males,

I am a little bit curious, im starting to notice that the new growth , and the leaves towards the top of the plant are allot darker? And also seem to be very close?IMG_2372.jpg IMG_2370.jpgIMG_2370.jpgIMG_2371.jpg

My next move is to start LST, as i have heard from you and many that the plant can get very strechy haha, and i think 6 foot may become a slight issue haha

Any tips and techniques are appreciated (':

The last picture is allot more clear of the colour diffrence, the bottom sets seem to be allot lighter, where as the top are so much darker

Quick update : i guess im about 3 weeks into veg, so fair i tried the F.I.M which ironicly i missed :\, so now ive just gone for the topp, which is looking good so far, i have also started to LST, Just tied her down a little.

One thing that i have done which maybe i shouldnt, i have trimmed a few of the fan leaves which i felt where blocking up allot of the light for the lower plant, i have read up on quite a few opinions about trimming and defoliation and i feel that she will benifit from a little trim.
So so far i have , : LST, Topped and defoliated,

Ive just repotted into a bigger pot, Chopped all the fan leaves, Lst all the branches and topped the newley grown top, im not sure if ive topped too soon after topping, ( topped the plant two times), Well we will soon find out, veg is the time to be experimenting i guess. Ill post some pictures up another time,

So here are the new pics since the repot,LST,defoliation and topping. As you can see ive removed all the fan leave apart from the new set at the top.
Shes now in a much bigger pot, i guess its comming up to the 4th week of veg. i feel that im gonna flip to 12/12 once my topps have fully recoverd to a nice healthly size.IMG_2397.jpgIMG_2398.jpgIMG_2399.jpgIMG_2400.jpgIMG_2401.jpg

i changed my mind on the LST i started a few days back, and now just working on the lower branches, i will be doing both of the new tops when they get to a good size and thats also when im flipping to 12/12

not sure if ive already mentiond this but shes under 2 150w bulbs, along with 2 30w bulbs so totaly around 350w

Hi guys was just wondering, my plant is about 10" veg stage, was just wondering what max hight i can expect when i flip to 12/12, i mean space isnt really a issue, however a 6foot fuckker kind of is a issue

Hi guys, i am posting this on another site because im not getting any responses and as a first time grower i would like some feedback on my grow, weather im doing it wrong or right, and perhaps some tips.

That plant will probably double.....

I used to FIM all my plants...I found that it sometimes would stall them...and sometimes it would cause multiple tops. I feel that I get better results with a combo of super cropping, Topping, and Constant Thinning of old growth (purple stems that pop of the plant with a little wiggling).

I couildnt quite tell but the FIM cuts looked a little high? Good Luck.
