First time grow

Hi guys just set my tent up and ready to start. Can anyone give me some do' s and Don'ts I'm new to this and it's my first grow, a few things I'm worried about is the temp inside the tent what should it be?
Also how far should my 600w bulb be from my plants at the start and all the way through its grow. So many questions lol and nervous as so any information would be very appreciative

i like my tent to stay around 72'F (between 65'F and 80'F will work in my experience) during vegetation and most of flower, then i drop the temperature to 65'F to 70'F during the end of flower. As for the light distance id say 2 FT from the top of the plant (i think). You can use your hand to gage the intensity and heat of the light. the biggest struggle for me during my first few grows is feeding and understanding PH and PPMs. youtube helped me a lot. good luck brotha

Hey Bro, can you give us a little bit more info about your grow set up so that we can try to help you out a bit more. Always try to provide as much info as possible, What medium are you using, which nutes if any, are you using extraction, what strain are you going to grow? Etc, etc. With regards to your temps in the tent you're looking for about 70 to 85F for Veg and then drop down to in between 65 to 80F for Flowering. When i use my 600w Hps I try to keep my light about 16" away from the top of my plants so just over a Foot and i basically just try to make sure the light is as low as possible without burning or damaging my ladies.
