Hi first time grow auto flower critical week 5 just wondering if shes ready to flower and how shes is doing any help appreciated

I have read up but its so confusing im not sure if they are doing well when will i know if they are ready to flower or not theres so many different pictures and advice

They seem to look OK from the photos but it’s sort of hard to tell with most of those angles and the light. But the leaves look perky enough so that’s at least a good sign.
Autoflowers flower whenever they decide they’re ready to flower — just keep them under light for 18 hours a day to maximize growth and they’ll flower when they’re ready.
Short-day or photoperiod plants require switching to 12 hours of light and 12 hours in darkness to induce flower. Most people make the flip when they’re confident the preflowers are female and when they’ve got the plants to the size and shape they want.

OP, you can see white hears coming up from plant nodes - that means your plant is mature and a female. Also on last pictures you see "chicken legs" growing from nodes. That is your plant stretching. In a week or two you will see buds forming.

With all due respect, I think you may be giving the OP overly optimistic expectations. Can you point out where you see these white hairs poking out from the plant nodes? I’ve looked pretty carefully and all I see are stipules and new branches. I didn’t see any pre-flowers that could be certainly characterized as female. This isn’t intended as a criticism — if I’m missing something, could you please point out what you’re seeing on the photo?
I usually go with 18 hours under the theory that plants need some more darkness, though I’m sure someone will say 20 is better. Overall the plant looks healthy enough, but I wouldn’t be confident it’s actually female at this point.

If you bought feminized seed, then you don’t need to worry about them being male, as long as it was from a reputable grower.

For autos there is no need to change light schedule to start the flowing process. They do that all by themselves even at 24/0 but autos do best at 18/6. From my opinion. I would feed them veg nutients through veg after the stretch then start feeding them bloom nutes.
