First time grow: Transplant/Watering question

Hello everybody, this is going to be my first time grow. I know it's late in the year, but this is to get a feel for things if a yield is not possible. Alright, to my question. My buddy recently gave me a clone he had in a halved 2-liter bottle(pictured) I was wondering if it was possible to transplant this directly into my garden(mulch/dirt)(pictured) Now my second question is, how much water would I designate to the plant once it is transplanted. We already have an auto-water system connected directly to my hose. The PVS pipe is connected to a series of tubes udnerground for each plot.

The clone would need to be hardened off.
Place outside in shade and slowly over a few weeks move it into more and more full sun.
If you don't harden it off and just plant it in the sun it will end up dead, cooked from the sun.
Personally I would get it the hell out of the 2ltr bottle and into a pot or grow bag.
That bottle is clear for one thing, that's not good can grow mold.
And it will never drain as well as a pot.
And that will cause the plant to have a hard time growing a good root ball.

I'm fairly sure he's had it among his other plants, which are already potted and flowering outside.

If its from a outdoor plant or it has been outdoors in sun it should be fine.
I would probably harden it off for a week just to be on the safe side, but it should be ok.
