First time grow - PPP from Nirvana

Not a plant update (only on Friday from now on!) but I did test out my little invention and here are the results:

Unfortunately the older plant is too rigid to tie down, so instead i tied down the leaves and branches as best I could so maximize how much light they'd get.

All in all I'm pretty satisfied with myself!

Oh how time flies! Another month and they may be ready!

Pictures are left to right (close ups and bud shots). The PPP plant looks really frosty given how small its main cola is, kinda surprised and excited!

I'm not much for pimping products, but Revive by Advanced Nutrients is the shit. Fed it to the plant that was showing issues and it has since stopped entirely. No new signs of growth being affected, so I'm really quite happy. Good stuff!

nice improvisation potseed, i've found a bit of string and pulling is a god send to adjust your plant my ppp has started frosting up too, sounds about right since we're pretty close in time whatever you harvest, it will be more than you had before

Not too much to update really, plants are doing well, I think I'm going to have to start feeding them more water, been only doing about a gallon for all 3 plants every couple days. Leaves are yellowing so it seems to be progressing quite well!

Well, I wasn't able to update the last week or so due to work so here we are

They went about 4 days without water, though before I left they were accidentally uh,.. semi-flushed completely wet so they managed just fine it looks like.

well look it at those girls, the 2 bag seed plants look very nice
your cmh light gave you some dense buds, very impressive
i'm guessing the ppp is on the left, not a fatty, but a nice miniature
was well worth keeping
other than the size of the ppp, they all look like the same strain

Yeah they look pretty good. I'm guessing probably 9 more days of flower before they get chopped. Hard to tell exactly. Now I'm starting to get curious about the strain/yield!

not to fear, no too unusual, i think quite a few strains do this
just keep your eye on the mature parts of the buds to gauge your harvest

So heres the deal, this is likely the last update for these plants, they're about ready for chopping. Unfortunately, work has me flying for nearly 2 weeks before getting home, and I am worried about my plants. I don't have much time to make sure they'll be ok as I have to leave tomorrow evening.

I don't know if they will survive the trip without water.. thoughts?

there are autowatering methods,
but 2 weeks, damn... any kind of failure in the ecosystem and you lose it all... I'd chop now if it's not ridicolously early if I were you, but let's hear it from the "enlighteneds" :)

best of luck m8

you did mention you may have harvest a bit early
2 weeks is tough, at least without some automatic watering
i'd probably be more nervous about fire over that period of time
you may be at the harvest time

I have a timer, pump and reservoir, the problem is that it seems to 'keep watering' even after the pump is turned off, multiple times I have come to find water in the tent. Im not sure I can trust it.

Do you think it would be best to just chop it now?

tough call, i had trouble looking at the pics, but that does happen with my proxy from time to time
you could give them a good watering and hope for the best, might make it, 1 week would probably be fine
you might turn down the lighting schedule a bit, say 10 hours of light, soil would dry more slowly

This is definitely not an easy decision to make. I'll lose out on 2 weeks of growth versus potentially losing the entire crop.. :-\

the last pics i saw looked pretty good, have you inspected the trichomes at all?
pretty much any magnifier will do, magnifying glass can be used
if you see a good number of cloudy, that would be a nice crop

Hard to say, I can't risk it either way. All 3 plants will need to get chopped. as Ill have to use the tent to try it out since it has the air circulation and filtering for the smell
