First time grow, needing LST and pruning advice

Hey everyone. I have a plant doing really well at the moment that came from a bag of old seeds I had lying around so I'm not sure on the strain. She was growing short and bushy with lots of growth on top but the growth underneath fell behind. As I'm new I thought I'd start out by just trying some LST.

I started training 2 days ago and have already taken a couple of the larger leaves off to let light through, since then she's growing well and the bud sites are starting to grow up, but I have some large leaves that are shading a couple more potential bud sites along the stem and I'm wondering should I take them off? Or should I just leave it for a while and give them a chance to grow more?

She'll be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I've put some pictures of her before training (17/05/20) and after, taken this morning. Any advice would be great :) thanks!

Don’t take away too many leaves at the time. You should wait around 2 weeks between each tome you take a few leaves off. The bigger the plant the more leaves you can ged rid of each time:) hope it helps!

Thanks for taking the time :) I'm definitely being careful not to do too much at once. Because this was just an old seed I'm using it to learn and going to let it veg for a while as I'm growing with an auto. So I'm in no hurry lol

If and when you do defoliate, focus more on only removing inward-facing secondary fan leaves. With some LST, your plant will take on a nice bowl shape.

Equal and opposite tension when possible and keep exposing bud sites. I remove the bottom crap. Auto grower.

Thanks for the advice. I forgot to tie the stem at the bottom to keep it straight up I'm sure it'll be okay this time. I have an amnesia haze auto growing so I'll definitely come back to your post for reference when it comes time to train
