I have started a grow in my closet with a few bag seeds and have gotten some lost cost og seeds and have them germinating.
I have 4 60w cfl soft white do I need more light now? How much more?
I really really do not know what nutrients to give them so far was tap water but switched to boiled water as I'm in the city.
I dont have closet set up perfectly but hopefully they continue to grow well. I have some yellow on 1 leaf no idea what it is growing in Miracle-Gro potting mix I have flushed both pots with water as to get the nuts from the Miracle-Gro out.

Thank you.
have been taking a look at that site over the past few days slowly learning. Didn't expect seeds to actually germinate and sprout when I put in soil in the window.

how much work, time and money do you want to put into this. and what are your expectations or goals for the end results?
do you live in an area where you have access to quality nutes?

The more light the better, Invest a few bucks into even some screw in led bulbs or an led grow light ( not a super cheap blurple though) I'd grab some GH flora series, 3 parts and about 30 bucks online, simple to follow directions and it's all you'll need for your first grows. The water can just be poured into a bucket or pan and let sit for about 24 hrs to let the chlorine dissipate.

Just got a 7way splitter and 7 day digital plug timer would it be ok to add that much more light when it shows up tons of research to do. Right now doing 17/7 for light going to add 2 more 60w tomorrow and wait till the 7way shows up

I added 2 more lights and got the 7 way splitter on the way. Added some pin holes to help pots with drainage new sprouts today so now going to get couple lamps for the sides. When should I add regular daylight cfl or just soft white whole time?

Lmao after doing lots more reading and videos over the weekend.
I topped on and maybe fined the other bigger one been pulling branches down to help new ones grow and finally getting nutrients tomorrow going to use half maybe qr strength for first feeding as they haven't had any added yet. I have a few very short seedlings that just dont wanna get taller but they are growing leaves is that good I'm not sure I am giving them extra attention. Fuck its bright working on plants with 10 bulbs in your face lol. So far deff lost one seed didnt root enough and I pulled shell off top soon.

You're not going to flush out the timed released nutrients in Miracle-Gro soil with a simple flush. Best thing to do is just let them keep growing and don't feed them until those nutrients in the soil get used up. As for nutrients, just get any decent two or three part nutrient and skip all the unnecessary additives. And remember that feeding more isn't going to magically make your plant grow faster and have bigger buds. Overfed plants become unhealthy and can get stunted from too much fertilization ending up with crispy fried leaves and nasty burnt up buds. Less is better than too much.

Good luck.

I am planning to transplant into coco/perlite mix tomorrow. So dont feed them till next week at all or just very low sprayed into coco before transplanting? I have noticed the one in small amount of soil (less then half full) not miracle gro just dollar store soil is growing faster then other 2. Ty for reminding me I will kill them easily if overfed. To exciting watching the daily growth. The one in pic was helped out of shell on wed the 8th so 5 days of growth.

I think I burned some leaves while I was sleeping this morning I moved tie down last night and sprayed leaves with ph water right after lights out time but woke up to this is.... the big leaf was touching light yesterday but it stretched and pushed tie out and now top is burnt 15873100318387002266203834198440.jpg15873100745902168994178926259411.jpg15873101391869209780058685956326.jpg

what to do next.... my 2 bigger are 6 weeks from seed growing really fast my cfl have to be very close for max power but these 2 just keep reaching to touch the bulbs. Doing training on both the fin isn't looking so good I think that's my lights tbh tho.
the topped plant is very uniform and growing alot straighter.
Only 2 big ones are in soil rest in coco and I think the 2 big ones need bigger pots???
Loving the tropf blumat jr still have to water the top but it has kept roots moist for sure I deff see water lvs going down.
I am feeding nutes thru the blumat and once a week top till run off I have noticed tiny bit of cal deficiency on two bigger plants spots on leaves not to worried atm.
Most lights have been changed to daylight so 6500 Kelvin or w.e hoping to get a node to test for sex next week.
not testing ppm but keeping ph below 6.5 temps 67-79.
