First Time Grow Much Help Needed, Would Be MAdly Appreciated lol ,

Just purchased some california skunk seeds, also a grow tent by growlife, 60x60x120, just wondering if 4 x 20w cfl hanging down vertical down either side of the plants, and one dual spectrum 300w cfl with reflector hanging horizontally down on to the plant would be enough for the whole cycle from start to finish? also with one free standing fan in the corner with 3 speeds be enough? am a newbie so take it easy on me guys cos some of these questions might sound stupid lol,

I'll pitch in! As I normally do.

As far as your question about lighting goes.... here it is

Florescent lights are great..... for veg....
They can be used for the flowering stage but your yield would be about half of a yield using an HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM system.

If using cfl's: keep your lights about 4-6 inches from plants at all times. Also since cfl's don't release many lumens of light so you will need to be sure you're surrounding your plants from top to bottom. If your plant doesn't receive enough light on the bottom and sides then your plants lower leaves will begin turning yellow due to chlorosis. Chlorosis happens when the plant is receiving an insufficient amount of light to carry out healthy green growth! So remember... the more cfl's the better!

To answer your fan question...

You will need 2 fans! One to intake fresh air and the second one to outtakes/exhaust any and all stale, hot air from the grow space. Without one of each, your grow room temps will rise and that will slow down the rate at which your plants grow! Intake fans also provide a breeze to your plants helping to strengthen the plants main stem!

Thats Great thanks alot just what i was looking for, so you would recommend getting a 400w hps ?? if so where would you purchase from rather go to a known wholesaler, also could i use the hps through the whole cycle as well as cfl vertical so the plant is not just getting light from above?? sorry any info would be much appreciated,

You said your space is 60"x60"x120"? If I were you I'd go with a 600w hps... you could use the same HPS for both veg & flower. But if you plan on taking cuttings for clones then plan on having 2 light setups.. I keep cfl's for my mother plants and clones. I use hps for flowering only

no 5ft x 5ft sorry thats cm lol , what exhaust / fan system should i have in place??
