Two weeks from germ. Threw the little guy in the Starbucks cup into soil going to use it as a mother plant. 2 in Dwc gg4 the mother plant is do si do

Do you defoliate to get your bud sites out of the shade from big leaves? more light on the bud sites will make for bigger buds.

There’s a big debate over removing healthy fan leaves. Some remove them others do not. I for one only cut the very bottom leaves off and leave the big fan leaves alone as the buds suck the nutes they need out of them. When they are ready to be removed they will do it themselves. To gain more light, I myself do LST. Usually I’ll top the plant first when it’s very young then later in veg I would super top them and bend them out from center of plant therefore letting light consume more of the plant. Like I said , there’s debate over this subject but this is my take on it. I hope it helps.
