Indoor - LA Garden tent 4x, 4x, 6x, $85.95
Soil
- Fox Farm, $36.69, it was ordered from VM Express
Light - 4ft. LED, 5000Lm, $21.84
Strain
- GDP (Grandaddy Purple Feminized), $49.99
Fan
- 20" Box Fan for circulation, free
Hygrometer - AcuRite 00325, $7.89
Temp
- 72-77F
Humidity - 49%-52%, haven't had to use my dehumidifier (yet), have it prepared to keep 50% and below.
Dehumidifier - Hysure portable, $29.99

Germinated in water for 24h, then transferred to paper towel for another 24h, had nice 1/4 and 1/2.

Planted in 5Gal pot (didn't want to transplant) with Fox Farm soil, unfortunately it came loaded with bugs as you can see in the images (will upload later) they were all over, applied some diatomaceous earth (food grade), haven't seen any since I mixed it in about 1-2 inches deep around my girls. I have some worm castings that I am waiting to use, what would be a good time to add it in the soil?

Took an additional day for the fans to be upright. Overall, I think they are looking great so far, will post pictures once I am able on this site, due to requirements I can't now.

When you say a 4 ft 5k lumen led, at that price it sounds like an led shop light. You can grow with those, however you will need more than one led light that draws 50 or so watts. In a 4x4 you should be blasting it with 400-550 watts of led during flower. You can get by with half that during veg.

You are exactly right, an LED shop light. I will look at getting a higher watt LED. Which one would you recommend from Amazon?

What's your price range?
Trying to stay under 100$, been looking at this one from Amazon, but says it is perfect for 2.5x2.5 grow area, I am only trying to cover 2 plants in my 4x4 tent.

I don't know if that's enough light. I have only used hps and cmh for flower so far, but have some quantum boards coming to test out. But those cost a little more than the blurples. I don't have enough experience to give you really good advice with this one. There are more experienced people out there that will comment on this though.

My young neighbor is using his Viparspectra 600 for a complete grow for the first time and he’s happy so far. He’s 4 weeks into flower. He was using it to veg but electricity here is so expensive he decided to try.
Ya I agree with hotrod, I've heard good things about those. I actually have the Vipraspectra 300 unopened that I was going to try, before I decided to get crazy and order the quantum boards.

If it has “Veg “ and “Bloom” switches turn both on. Read about LED grow light heights. Good luck.

Dude just get a quantum board and grow 1 plant no need to waste money on an inferior product so you can try to cover a tiny bit more space.

i recomend checking out horticulture lighting group. i bought 2 288 rspec v2s quantum boards with a heatsink for 200 just had to buy a driver i recommend the hlg-240h-c2100a for 2 boards. not enough light for a 4x4 you could flower a 3x3 though. better to buy quality light than some Amazon blurple i wasted 200 dollars on a blurple before doing research.

Repotting is not hard and would make life easier for watering if you had started off in smaller pot. Good luck tho just try not to over water
