Hi guys im new to rollitup and wud just like some feed back on my first grow and first scrog grow. . . Ok so a few more details... I'm in a 1.2m grow tent with a 4"rvk extraction fan and filter and austic ducting using 600w hps, temps stay between 74f and 79f. I'm using two 30L tubs and scrog screen is around 8" from top of pots . I am growing 2 "BAGSEED" in jacks magic compost only fed with plain water untill I flower then I will introduce iconic bloom and buddhas tree pk and flush the last week or 2 before chop.... My plants are around 9 weeks from seed and have pre flowers so I'm pritty sure they are both females, anyway this is my first grow and my first scrog grow so basically just want some feedback on what people think so far... all and any advice will be much appreciated. Today is first day flower so hope the screen fills up more during the strech fingers crossed coz I have no time left to veg

600W HPS is great for the bloom phase.

Plants look nice and green. However, they might be a tad too close together - but you can see once it gets rolling. You will most likely need to prune where the two plants meet in the middle once they seriously start to bud.

If you just flipped to 12/12, they will go through the pre-flower stretch for about 2 - 3 weeks. Branches grow a touch more to strengthen and allow the buds to develop when they go full bore. You can feed some of the additional stretch through the SCROG every couple of days. Once week 4 starts, they should start filling in with the chunky flowers.

Yeah mate first of all thanks for stopping by, I did notice that I have them a bit close together. Iv tryed sliding them along but ther kind of tangled up in screen and the stem starts to bend..... I now no I shud of had them abit further away. And yeah thanks man that's what I'm hoping for nice big nugs. How far through the screen shud I allow the shoots to grow to get nice size colas... Or will I just keep tucking for first two or three weeks then let them go up

You live & learn. You'll know for the next time.

Keep tucking then let them go up. All those tops should eventually become nice colas. How big they get it totally up to the plant. Some folks use a second SCROG netting about 8" - 10" above the first net.

A general rule of thumb is 1 g / watt for HID lighting grown under good conditions. Love to tell you that you'll get 600 grams - but actual yield depends on several factors - strain, lighting, nutes, ventilation (I ruined a crop with poor ventilation!!) pruning, defoliation ...

Don't go overboard on them nutes either. Start slow and you can always increase if needed. Your leaf colour speaks volumes - let your girls tell you what they need.

You appear to have a good number of branches on each plant and you're striving for a even canopy with the SCROG net. From what I see so far, I'm gonna SWAG your yield at 350 - 400 grams.

Here's hoping that I am low on my guess.

Yes starecase your right. you live and learn and I have defo learnt for next time because there will be a next time. I think its an awsome way to grow ☺ and 600g wud be fantastic bro .... I'll start off half strength nutrients and work my way up, won't be going overboard tho and yeah I'd be happy with 300g-400g of nice bud for my first attempt

I cud even start at quarter strength nutrients if that wud be better just don't want them going hungry .... And thanks on the estemate my friend

Just the first one at the start. You can increase it to the lowest recommended dosage printed on the bottle or container of the nutes you are using. Then you can either adjust the dosage higher or continue with that strength - it's all based on what the plant are telling you.

Ok cool the stuff I'm using says 7 ml per liter I'm using iconic bloom iv giving them 3.5ml per leiter I woke up this morning to turn on my light and my plants just don't look very health to me but give them ther first dose of bloom nutrients at half strength hopefully they start looking a little better and start growing abit better to

Yeah I agree, I think it's because the compost I used only fed for the first 4-5 weeks I think it was and I veged them for 9 weeks and only had plain water so that is like 3-4 weeks with no nutes in the soil.... Until today was first bloom feed at half strength. They will have been starving. so hoping that they pick back up now ther getting some nutrients back into them....... Could this be the reason they look abit week?? And Air flow is fine I think seems OK to me. Temps stay around 75f and 79f and seems to be enough air coming out my ducting

I'm talking airflow as in fans blowing across the canopy to strengthen the plant itself, and the 3-4 weeks of no nutes could be the cause, I'd have to read deeper into it.

Ok mate thanks for that, I'm sure it can't of done any good been without nutrients for that length of time. Especially during the last few weeks veg going with nothing.. . And yeah there's a fan blowing across the canopy but it's not the best one it's probs about 12".... Mite need a smaller one so the air coming from the fan isn't so spred out if you get what I men. ... My plants leaves do rattle a little bit probs not as much as they shud be

I'd definitely beg a little longer and wait until they're healthy before the switch. and yes maybe the smaller fan on a powerful setting would direct more air
